I add salsa to most Mexican entrées. I especially like adding it to Michelina’s Macaroni & Cheese. For a “crunch” snack, I dip with celery sticks. And I add it to my salad.
3 tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup finely diced onion
2 hot chile peppers, jalapeño or serrano chiles, finely chopped
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons lime juice
Mix and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
