I saw a product on TV (HSN?) a few days ago about a product called something like "Yonanas". It makes soft serve or ice cream out of just bananas and any other fruit/flavoring, using no liquid. You just put the frozen fruit chunks in the top and push it through. It costs about $49.95. I have not tried it, but thought of this team when I saw the advertisement.
I am very happy with my Magic Bullet procedure (1 Slim-Fast and chunks of frozen fruit), but thought I would get the info to others about this new product.

“When you're a beautiful person on the inside, there is nothing in the world that can change that about you. Jealousy is the result of one's lack of self-confidence, self-worth, and self-acceptance.
The Lesson: If you can't accept yourself, then certainly no one else will.”

You can also blend just frozen bananas and frozen strawberries to make ice cream. nothing but fruit. I make my shakes with a very cold can of vanilla or strawberry shake, 1/2 frozen banana, 1 cup frozen strawberries, sweetener and vanilla to taste. So thick and good that now my husband wants one too. It's our afternoon snack almost everyday.

I have made what is very close to ice cream by blending frozen fruit and 1 Slim-Fast prepared chilled beverage. I use my Magic Bullet to blend it until the fruit is totally pulverized. It comes out almost like soft serve. I love it! Did strawberries in Strawberry SF, dark sweet cherries in Chocolate SF and both were yummy. Have also done this with frozen bananas and pineapple in Vanilla SF. I just break the bananas up and throw them in a bag. For the pineapple, I took crushed pineapple and froze it in ice cube trays.
The higher the proportion of frozen fruit, the thicker the shake.
I think using protein powder, milk and frozen fuit would work out about the same.

Saw this today on the Uses for Protein Powder spark blog: Ice cream: Mix one 6-ounce container vanilla Greek yogurt with 1-2 scoops protein powder. Mix to combine, then freeze, stirring every 20 minutes until it reaches the consistency you desire (about an hour).
