Ditto Izee52, during the summers I hate eating big meals and am always looking for something light yet fulfilling.

This has been a godsend!! I really miss dairy products and they are supposed to help with weight loss. I find the Greek yogurt plus extra fruit is the best snack to have at work and almost feels more filling than the shake was. I like this option especially with summer coming and all the nice fresh fruit.

Just a heads up: I have noticed that some stores have the Chobani 0% and 2% mixed togeather on the shelf. Both are under the fat limit but it's still nice to cut out as much fat as possible. :)

Are you saying we can use the greek yogurt to replace a shake? (as long as it meets the same requirements as shakes?) This would be great for a work snack with fresh fruit added.

Huntress,

Hello, went to Target and got some fruit flavored Greek yogurt. I had the peach flavor and it was really good! I hate regular yogurt and can only eat the Greek yogurt so I was a bit reluctant to try the Greek flavored yogurt - I love it. I still ate a cup of fruit and was done with my shake count for the day.

Hmmm that sounds really good. I will have to pick up some spring rolls & romaine heart leaves. Sounds like a great filling meal without being heavy or calorie laden.

This is precisely something that Dr A would suggest.

Thanks for sharing.

Thought I'd share what I ate for dinner using Fage 0% Plain Greek Yogurt

1) Take 6 Romaine Heart leaves and set them aside
2) Get a spoon and spread some Greek yogurt on each romaine heart (save some 4 later)
3) Place the leaves together, one leaf on top of the next, both facing up!
4) Add any other veggies you like (onions, peppers, carrots, cucumbers, etc.)
5) Warm up 3 Lean Cuisine's Garlic Chicken Spring Rolls
5) Cut up the 3 rolls so you have 15 pieces in total
6) Place 5 pieces of the Spring roll on 1 set of the romaine leaves
7) After veggies and roll pieces are on, place your last dollop of Greek yogurt on for garnish!

Note:
a) You should have 3 salad wraps (2 leaves combined makes 1 wrap)
b) The Greek yogurt replaces your shake (100 cal)
c) The Garlic Chicken rolls are your entree (200cal)
d) The Romaine lettuce & any veggies you add is 1 your serving of vegetables

Thanks Ladies for being here :)

If you're interested in saving on sugar with the greek yogurt, I buy the plain, fat free, I put unsweetened frozen fruit (that you buy in a bag in the frozen section at the store)...I put that on top. I don't like the thickness of greek yogurt so much, so by the next morning the fruit has thawed and has juices as a result. I stir it all together with a packet of sweetener and is just as good as buying a flavored one!

Isn't it?!? I had the plain last night with my Chicken Garlic Rolls Entree and it was so delicious! I can't wait to try some flavors now :)

Well I tried Greek Yogurt tonight. Wow it is great. I had the Chobani Apple Cinnamon. Was a nice change of pace from the shakes.
