Thanks for the conagra search page! its great! one question... if something falls within the guidelines that is not a frozen meal (such as the beanie weenies, beefaroni, etc...) can we eat that for something a little different? or do we have to stay with only the frozen meals?

For those of you asking about vegetarian entrées, here are some ideas: Healthy Choice: Portabella Spinach Parmesan, Rotini & Zesty Marinara Sauce; Lean Cuisine: Three Cheese Stuffed Rigatoni, Cheddar Potatoes with Broccoli, Cheese Ravioli, Delux Cheddar Potato, Santa Fe-Style Rice & Beans, Stuffed Cabbage. I'm sure there are more vegetarian entrees, but these are a few to get started. As long as a frozen or shelf-stable entree meets the nutrition guidelines in Appendix 4.2 on page 262 of the book (also in the table on page 56), it's fine to use.

RSMMCM had a great find with this information.

I found a good search tool online. You can choose the advanced search and select your calorie, fat, protein ranges. You'll get a breakdown of all the meals to choose from. Healthly Choice, Banquet, Marie Callender's. It beats standing in front of the freezer section reading all the boxes.

Lean Cuisine has a good search also (be sure to sign up for the points program, to get free stuff)
