Found a couple recipes that sound really good. I haven't tried either yet, but they sound so delicious I wanted to share them right away.
Almond Joy Smoothie ~
4-8 dates (soak in water for 1/2 hour before blending)
1 1/2 cups water
Ice ~ add to desired consistency
For the vanilla and chocolate flavoring, use your shake as one of the flavors. If you have a vanilla shake or powder, only add the choc. flavoring and vice versa. Makes recipe a bit versatile that way. Can't wait to try this one. I already have the fat free syrups to use!
Pumpkin Pie Smoothie ~
1/4 c. coconut milk
1/2 c. pumpkin, cooked
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 dashes ginger
2 dashes nutmeg
1/2 - 1 tsp. stevia (to taste)
8-10 ice cubes
Blend everything except ice until completely smooth. Add ice and blend until desired consistency.
I love pumpkin pie, so I can't wait to buy pumpkin tomorrow and try this one!!!
Running to the refrigerator is not considered exercise.
