This isn't exactly a smoothie, really a slush. The cafeteria at work served something like this last week, and it was so refreshing. I found this recipe on Eating Well. I hope to try it this weekend.

KITEFLYINGAL,

Your not the only one that has a addiction to smoothies. I am on a team that is for Smoothie lovers. You can see it on my page if you want. I have to have at least one a day. I usually eat it in the morning for breakfast. It makes me feel real good. I usually just use yogurt, frozen fruit, milk and Fibersure 100% vegetable fiber in my drinks. I get my fruit, protein, and fiber plus more. I also experiment too.

in the past my smoothies have consisted of protein powder, flax and fruit.. but lately I have been experimenting.. yesterday I added shredded beets and 1/4c of rinsed black soy beans.. I had strawberries, kiwi and blueberries for fruit and the combination was delicious, plus i got the additional protein from the beans (couldn't even taste them)
