Well Ladies, it has not been easy. I finished august and went into September with the goal of getting my food into focus. I have been 85% successful. I am taking breakfast and lunch to work. Most nights dinner is something prepared at home or healthier choice take out. I still have those unplanned dinners or lunch out on the weekend that seem to undo all the good that was done prior to that meal. I will continue to work on this but I really need to shift my focus to fitness. I know that I don't lose weight without working out. I prefer to work out the first thing in the morning. In order to do this, I have to have my workout clothes and business clothes laid out the night before and ready for me to wear or carry to the gym. I have had a hard time getting this done Last week I managed to be ready and at the gym two mornings. Ts week a dental appointment, buying a new car and a parent conference derailed my efforts. So as September slowly gives way to October, I am going to work at getting the three days at the gym in as well as having my food ready.

There are still a couple of weeks left in the month...you can hit a small goal...like being consistent with the exercise...like I'm trying to do!!! emoticon

Haven't been around much lately. I checked the team today and saw this challenge. The month is well under way so I have a goal that is within my reach. I have started back to work after summer vacation. I am going to use the rest of this month to get back in the habit of packing my breakfast and lunch. This is the first habit that needs to be in place in order for me to get back my focus.

I am PROUD to say that today at lunch was the FIRST time this week that I ate out...I have been cooking and packing my lunch and snacks all week...even been cooking dinner...VERY PROUD of myself...GO ME!

limiting fast food is a true challenge for me...my gym is right next door to Popeye's Chicken (no fair, right?) and when I left the gym that smell was calling my name but I resisted....GO ME!!!

I'm also limiting/avoiding processed foods and fast food. I plan to get at least 30 minutes of cardio 2 days a week, peferrably 3...

Hey ladies,

We only have a few more months in this year so let's get moving so that we will be either at our goal or close to it when 2013 rolls in...what are you going to challenge yourself to do for THIS month?

I am challenging myself to lose 10 lbs, eat more fruit/veggies, less processed/fast foods and to be consistent in the gym...

What about YOU?
