Yay for control!! I found that going through the 4 week process was also so beneficial in targeting when I was going to lose control, and recognize it before it happened - having alternatives in place ahead of time is HUGE in terms of controlling what goes in my mouth. AND I survived the Easter Bunny yesterday!! Had a few nibbles of M&M's, but my kids baskets were otherwise safe. And I have not secretly binged on the extras!
Before starting this challenge, I had gone without my sugar bowl for a week and felt like I was a drug addict going through withdrawal. But when I went through this challenge and worked on it over 4 weeks I have definitely cut down significantly on the sugar. And I know when the cravings will come and I have alternatives. I have more control. And I will continue.
