One of the many things that keep my sweet tooth in check is my calorie count for the day and if a sweet treat takes me over it. If a sweet treat will take me over my calorie range I tend to stay away from the sweet. I don't want to go over my calorie budget because I feel that I wasted a day of healthy eating on that one sweet.
The TV is a big culprit when it comes to overeating and snacking. Not only does the TV distract you from what you are eating, but it has a host of advertisements pushing food from all walks of life.
