Haven't had any better of a week since I Last posted. I'm aware of my triggers, But I still went for them. Could be hormonal, who knows, could Be the VICIOUS cycle of self sabotage What I say WANT to cut back on , I CRAVE more....But I still tracked. I will start over week 3 on Thurs. and try harder. Hopefully it will get easier.

emoticon Had particularly bingey day yesterday. I was stressed out, because My daughter got hurt (she's ok) @ a music festival, and waiting to hear how she was put me into binge mode. I missed my exercise class waiting. All in all , not a great day. Figured I'd go to Sat. Class , turns out they've been cancelled til fall... I didn't used to, but I will track my bad days to make them A Learning experience . I do better when I stick around here, and keep accountable, So I Can keep this from becoming a major absence again, and another weight gain. I'm doing much better w exercise, but healthier eating is still a major work in progress! Stick w it! I takes a long time to undo years worth of bad habits. emoticon

Wow, looks like the lion is not going to get his share... of courage....cause it's all right here! I'm new to sparkpeople and I like the spirit of the people I find here. We may not succeed at the pace we'd like to.. yet, I believe I've run into a whole lotta people who are on the right track , have experienced enough to know when they've jumped track and know how to get right back on... we get to where we can see it coming...and avoid all kinds of pileups... still...it's a worthwhile journey cause we are all worth it...My best to all of you and your efforts inspire Me..

I understand the impulse to avoid Spark - been there, done that! Kudos for the healthy smoothie and coming back and posting! emoticon I have bad days/weeks/... myself and I'm working on staying connected here even (especially) when I fail. If I'm too embarrassed to post my failure, I at least see how others are doing and/or read articles looking for encouragement.

I'm in a 1 pound/week challenge in another team and one of the most inspiring things for me has been watching people who week after week don't seem to lose any weight - they may be in a lose/gain cycle. But they come back every week and report their weight. It inspires me to keep on trying.

My hope and belief is that by staying present on Spark even when I'm "failing", I'm encouraged and inspired to get back on track sooner. I tend not to be so self-condemning, but realize that each day is a new day and an opportunity to truly start fresh!

We all go through these spates of "perceived weakness," especially when we are in times of extreme stress or particularly wacky hormonal days. Breathe!!!!! Forgive yourself!!!! Doing what you did this morning was PERFECT! Sometimes it is one minute at a time. Honor that (and yourself) and this, too, shall pass!

Refuse to be beaten by inanimate objects, inflexible minds, and incompetent practices.

Everyone goes up in flames now and then. The important thing is to dust yourself off and move forward as hard as that is sometimes. Take it meal by meal...if you bite it, write it!

I was doing really well and then I had an awful set of days and went on a binge. I'm talking thousands of calories here. I've got no excuse for it and I am so ashamed that I have been avoiding Spark the last few days.
This morning I got up, made myself a healthy smoothie and decided I'd come on here and be accountable.
