I am just curious - did you get an email from SP telling you that you are on week three, or is that something you just knew. I think I am on week three, but I am not sure. But having said that, I don't think that I fared too well on weeks one and two, so I think I might consider starting this challenge over again.

1. How are you doing with your sugar swaps?
Surprisingly not as bad as I thought I would, sugar free candy helps, I put a portion size amount that is stated on the packet into snack bags and have one bag when I feel like a sweet. Strange thing is I don't have them as much as I thought I would. Fresh fruit cut up into small pieces is great. I use a cocktail stick to eat them with.

2. How do you bust your sugar cravings?
Fruit, no sugar candy. Keep my hands occupied whilst watching TV, knitting helps I can't knit and eat at the same time. No Sweet Treat. I set a goal not to have any sweet sugary foods for a day reach that goal put money in a jar, next go for 2 days etc. That way I am aiming at a day at a time rather than a whole week. I plan to spend the money on a DVD I want.

3. What is your favorite low-sugar snack?
Fruit, fresh fruit apples in particular with pears running a close second.
Fruit on a skewer for a dessert is great with a yogurt dip.
Apple cooked in the microwave stuffed with fruit and nuts is so good, it tastes sweet and can be turned into an indulgent dessert with greek yogurt and a drizzle of honey. Great for a Sunday dessert.


Week 3 is going well despite someone buying in sugar loaded cereal bars and chocolate coated biscuits (cookies) as they want something sweet.(DH)
I have stayed away from them even though I am tempted to give in. My motivational collage helps and seeing myself slimmer, healthier and with more energy.
Leaving out the sugar I find I have more energy as I am now having more natural sugars from fruit. I am going to try the sugar free muffins so I can have a cake every so often.
