Stress and my sweet tooth seem to come hand in hand. Just to control the stress and I can control my sweet tooth. One day at a time.

My name is Rae and I live in S Florida. I have been a member with SparkPeople since 2008. I am a Breast Cancer Survivor. I have been cancer free since December 2012.

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.

Mistakes are the portals of discovery.

Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Well my triggers I want to avoid are, 1) being stressed and frustrated. For that I found some good breathing exercises. 2) being tired. That one is a little harder with my teething baby, but if I feel tired I will just take a nap with her.
3) which is also a sugar craving trigger is I will reduce my coffee and cake to twice a week and not daily basis.
