So many triggers! Bored, tired, stress, pain.....

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.

Mistakes are the portals of discovery.

Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

You are right. I realized that when I was tired at night, I would eat just to help keep me awake. Once I really started to recognize that it helped. I started going to bed a bit earlier and stopped eating to stay awake.

If you don't love yourself....how can you expect others to.

My triggers are like most of yours - lack of sleep really makes it hard. When work is stressful and goodies are plentiful - those are difficult triggers. One of you advised me to say "I need to watch my sugar intake". I like that, it sounds like a medical reason so people should stop pushing me to eat pastries. I plan to not go to the grocery store hungry, so I can keep from buying ice cream bars. emoticon

My triggers:

Not enough sleep

Not enough protein and fiber throughout the day

Meds

What I can do:

I can try to get 7-8 hours of sleep a night. I can eat more fiber/filling foods earlier in the day. I can't change my meds but I can rest when I need to instead of trying to eat to "stay awake".

Foods to give up:

AHHHH! If I say I want to give something up, then I can GUARANTEE eating it! I have NO will power!
