Hubby loves to bring goodies home for me ...he knows that I love them. His special favorite is Pie...lately he brings home the cherry pie Sugar Free!! It only has 250 calories a slice Ha!
I know he means well....another trigger is when I can not sleep at night...if I get something sweet it relaxes me and I will go to sleep. I am trying warm milk and peanut butter.

Yes, if you take the vegetables, you can also know how much bacon grease, fatty cheese, etc, that is in a dish

I have decided that I am going to be the person to take vegetables and fruit to our many family get-togethers. There is always an abundance of desserts but, rarely veggies.

Color it up!

I am right there with you on that. when any group gets together they think there needs to be food or some kind of dessert.

While I agree that husbands and mothers can be triggers, my hardest trigger is my church group members. When we get together every Thursday night, there is usually some kind of sweet treat, cookies, cake, etc. there. Others who are trying to eat well use it as there "cheat day", but I am trying to eliminate those as well. For Pete's sake, I crave salty foods sometimes too, and there is an abundance of those there as well (chips, pretzels, cheese doodles, etc).

Prayer is not a "spare wheel" that you pull out when in trouble; it is a "steering wheel" that directs us in the right path throughout life.
