I started out top weight 245 but that was when I actually got on a scale. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia almost 20 years ago. Over the years I've learned that I do so much better when I eat organic foods and I haven't eaten red meat in years I have been gradually working more raw foods, vegetables and fruit into my diet. I avoid drive through resturants like the plague.
You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.
Mistakes are the portals of discovery.
Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.
It is never too late to be what you might have been.
I am sure this makes it more difficult for you in the challenge and at many social events the two of you may attend but i encourage you to stay the course for the duration of the challenge. I used to have a very skinny husband and now he is getting older he is putting on more weight. I think he could lose a few pounds but he will not even consider changes at this point so it is useless to try. i do cook healthy meals at home so i know one meal is good for him.
