My BIG thing is Reeses too, I gave away Reeses for Halloween, now there are none in the house! But the chocolate craving still exists Ive been having instant cocoa. One cup seems to do the trick before bedtime. My biggest trigger is when Im tired. Second tigger is after meals but the cocoa really fills me up so I have been able to pass up the cocoa then. The third trigger is when Im walking by a 7-11 or Walgreens near my home. I guess its like a reward. So easy to just walk in and grab Chocolate or even a soda! I plan not to have cash with me when I do my daily walk and to have water with me which helps.Planning ahead. Now that I know what my triggers are it REALLY helps!

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.
Mistakes are the portals of discovery.
Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.
It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Trigger 1 - halloween candy. thus far i have not mentioned the nov 1 candy sales to my husband today and successfully avoided that bomb Trigger 2 - grabbing for sweets at bedtime. i will make notes to hang around the kitchen entrance and on the remaining sweets in the house (for my hubby to consume( Trigger 3 - have something in mind for when PMS takes over and the sweets start to look like the only palatable food.. what can i use for this demon though???
I'm actually having a harder time than I thought I would. My kids don't trick-or-treat but ended up persuading me to get them some sale candy yesterday--they picked peanut butter cups. I can resist ANYTHING but peanut butter cups. Sigh. Goal to have NONE today.
