EachMoment, it took me a long time to start putting the puzzle together but feel that by making small changes and focusing more each day, I see improvement and have lost 17 pounds as of today.
For me,I have to keep the carbs low while losing weight. We all have to find what foods work for our own bodies.
But hearing other's successes sure helps with the modivation.

Thank you so much for this cheering session for week 2. We can do it! I seem to be approaching this sweet tooth challenge with baby steps compared to the rest of you; but if I can just get moving forward in the right direction and keep going that will be a huge step for me. I am focusing on sweet awareness and reduction, 8 glasses of water, healthy foods instead of..., and to keep moving.

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.

Mistakes are the portals of discovery.

Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

I have been struggling (for years, actually), but I know that I CAN do this, and I will not give up. You are ALL so inspirational. emoticon

Yes, we CAN eat healthy... one meal at a time... one decision at a time...one conquered craving at a time... one twarted urge at a time.
Each time we don't give in to the sugar, we become stronger!!
I'm on day 5 and my goal is only one protein low carb bar per day...and "going back to basics" food plan of veggies and protein for 2 weeks, then slowly adding back grains, fruit and an occasional dessert only IF I can handle it.
I am willing to do whatever it takes to live my life without being controlled by sugar.

Yes! Back on my feet again. No more exercising like the baby crawling for the goal line. Start walkin baby!

Slowly but surely, moving in a better direction!

Great attitude! Definitely the way to look at it!emoticon

Come on team. We can do this.. I have made up in my mind that I do not want to be where I use to be. I had such a hard time getting around.. Sweets and breads were my down fall..It's not easy but we can cheer each other along.
