Thanks everyone! This is my third day cookie free!! I'm thinking quite a bit about what I other things I could do when I get home from work instead of munch on cookies, but also jst exerting a LOT of will power not to go near any! Half way through!

A good reminder, Platinum. I notice the bakery cookies every time I pass them. In all honesty, there is probably a longing expression on my face, as I pause just briefly.. It's a wonderful win when I then walk on by. Phew!

sounds so familiar. I took the step of not buying any. That helps even though I still get the craving. Now I can't eat them because they are not in the house. I reach for a glass of water instead. All the best as you will beat this trigger.

It looks like you have identified a trigger point and have a plan to make changes. I love the decision not to even buy any. you might want to look at why you eat them when you get home from work. Is is because you are hungry if yes then try real food VS. sweets. If it is boredom then maybe using that time to do something else such as spot strength training or making a meal plan for the next day or week might be an idea.
