Hello! I think it's hard for the most of us to eliminate sweets completely,especially in birthday parties. So i let myself eat a peace of cake about 4cm2 it would be more convenient to me than not to eat sweets at all...at least that's what i do

I have the same problem, but I learned that if I take a sweet fruit and eat that while everyone is having cake, I don't cave. Make sure its a sweet fruit though, strawberry, peaches, blueberries, etc. I hope this helps. Good luck on the birthday parties.

I started eliminating sugar on Monday; found this challenge today. I know I crave sweets when I am stressed, tired, bored, etc., etc, etc. I do well with it and then a birthday will come up and I give in to the craving and eat cake and ice cream; which begins the process over. I have done well this week; however, I have 3 birthdays at the end of this month. I have to change the way I think about birthdays and know that it is okay not to eat a piece of cake.
