I Make these cookies, they are not sugar free but there is not very much sugar and you only get one pan of cookies

You can use unsweetened apple sauce in place of sugar for some cookies, there is a cookie recipe that uses a banana instead of sugar.

I agree. I learned a lot about sugar when I followed the No sugar, no flour diet. I couldn't believe how many foods have added sugar for what appears to be no real reason other than to keep us addicted...
My favor replacement for morning cereal (everyone of them has sugar) is a granola we make with oats, unsweetened coconut, pecans, AND concentrated APPLE juice. Juice concentrate can be boiled down to a thin syrup and used sparingly to sweeten. It's refined sugar we want out of our diets.
My downfall is the evenings. This week cherries were on sale and I have been using a small bowl each night to help the cravings - so far, so good.
HOWEVER ----Problem occurred last night when I sent my husband to the store for basic supplies. He saw OREO cookes ON SALE and brought a bag home. I just got all the sweets out of my house. I admit I had ONE last night...... or was that TWO LOL..... Today is another day.....

Ok, so since joining this group, I have seen people post substitutes for certain things e.g. carob instead of chocolate, stevia instead of refined chocolate, artificial sweeteners, etc.

What about non sugar sweets? I know the 2 words seem a contradition but I am wondering if anyone has recipes available.
I know a few but a couple I really love are Raw Lemon Truffles (No refined sugar, just honey to slightly sweeten) and Raw Brownie Bites (raw Racao - not processed and dates for sweetening).

I don't know, maybe this is defeating the purpose of the group, but I feel the aim is "sweets" in moderation and non-processed/refined sugar "sweets".
