It is never too late to be what you might have been.
I love sweets and some days prefer to have a donut instead of a healthy breakfast. After a doctor visit last November when I was told my weight was just little under 300 pounds I made the decision to really work on losing weight. I started with eliminating fast food from my daily diet. First, I had the bad habit of going to McDonalds every day after work and getting a medium fry and large coke (5 days a week), so I changed my route home where I did not pass by McDonalds and thus eliminated the temptation. Second, I would stop at Dunkin Donuts every morning on my way to work and buy a medium coffee and one boston creme donut, one day I stop and only bought a medium coffee and told the person working that I was cutting donuts out of my daily diet so now when I stop they only give me a coffee and no longer offer me the donut. It is a struggle but I am determine to lose weight and get healthy before my 50th birthday.
