It's really great that you've succeeded in managing your sweet tooth in the few days before,and you can continue to succeed in this with your strong will.
You can help yourself keeping the stress off by listening to some guided meditation music, it'll keep you relaxed ,and also try not to let yourself feel hungry ,have a healthy snack between meals,drink plenty of water,be present while eating, and above of this all keep up your good spirit and enjoy every minute of your life being healthy. You could do it before you can do it now..it's all in our head.

A great stress reliever that can be done anywhere is deep breathing. If it is practical close your eyed if not just leave them open. Inhale deeply through your nose and hold the breath for a few seconds, then exhale slowly through your mouth and repeat.

great that you recognized the stress connection. For many people lack of sleep also falls in the same category. Going to bed early helps not to eat sweets at night.

I am very proud of myself, I just spent 4 1/2 days walking up and down Ocean City Boardwalk. I am usually a sucker for the funnel cakes and sweets while I am on vacation, but I did very good. The only sweets I had were my DD coffees, and I only had 2. There is a 'Candy Factory' almost literally every few blocks and I kept myself out of them completely. I just hope I can keep it up now that I am back at work and to my normal schedule again. Also I think I have determined that my sweet tooth acts up when I am stressed, on vacation I wasn't stressed so it wasn't as hard as I expected.
