Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

LULUGIRL!!!!! Fantastic Friday! I guess you can tell how proud we all are that you made those choices. Love JENAWHITE2's suggestion about fruit. My husband and I make fruit kabobs and take them to every event we attend that calls for a "dish". Not being at a workplace is an advantage for us, but still there are those times.......

You or anyone else that has to be strong in the name of Morale Builders at work should be congratulated. Donuts don't improve the lives of anyone and are torture for many of us. Can you suggest the new trend of fresh fruit/veggies on Fridays or a unique tea or a special brew of coffee? A lot of the growing companies are going to that. I just finally got the full size candy bars in the snack drawer replaced with a 10 cent chocolate square. Several coworkers have thanked me and said that often they just need a single bite in the afternoon.

Where I work each department has a treat day. Our department has a donut day on Friday. They are always right in front of me as the table they were on was right beside my desk. This past Friday was the first one where I chose to not have any. I was so proud of myself, it is really empowering. The past few Fridays I ended up caving in and having one when I didn't plan on having one but not this time, its surprised me how more in control I felt. I have cut out sugar from my tea and coffee. I'm such an emotional eater that just these few changes have proved to be very effective for me all around. I always have healthy snacks on hand, especially at work. And I keep a jug of water at my desk with me.
