Sooooo, I went shopping yesterday and I couldn't resist the Cadbury chocolate mini eggs. I ate the whole bag and when I woke up this morning I had dark circles around my eyes! Not just under, but all around. I was stunned by my appearance and it's quite obvious to me now that refined sugar is not good for me. I'm going to keep this mental image in the forefront the next time I'm tempted, it has had a profound effect.

I hear what you are saying. I think we are better of to plan to have our chocolate, just make it dark chocolate and limited your portions. I am the worlds worst when it comes to sweets. But there is one thing that has helped me to at least think before I start. I ask myself "Do I want my legs, feet, etc.?" We all know that to many sweet contributes to diabetes and cancer. So the next time you get that carving, just think what's more important and Don't forget to keep track of what you eat, it helps!

This is Day One for me and I hope I can do this. I have intense cravings whenever I see chocolate, and it is everywhere! I try to avoid it in the store but it seems that every aisle has some form of chocolate in it. Fruit dip in produce, chocolate cereal, ice cream, cakes, cookies in front of the milk cases! I've even tried shopping online and having food delivered but the store site has ads for chocolate embedded in the food lists. I make myself sick with the excessive amounts of chocolate I eat and I have to stop.
