I thank you. I have figured out how to plan my chocolate, using dark chocolate, fresh strawberries well fresh frozen and a nutra grain waffle. AND under my 400 calorie per meal deal I am counting. I am ready.. LOL

Way to go JustJane. 8 days is a long time. I find myself wanting to eat chocolate or candy in general when I am at work and it is toward the end of the day. The more I try to stay away from it, the more I am thinking about it. First week is the toughest I guess.

I have a stressful job and after 3 is when I get weak... I have started having something no more than 4 hours apart to keep hunger down and I actually have made it 8 days with no sweets. It seemed the first 3 were the hardest and then I was fine... now though seems emotional eating and stress are creeping into my head about sweets... that is why I joined this challenge. Hang in there you can do it... one day at a time right... one baby step at a time .. that is what I keep telling myself anyway, LOL
You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.
Mistakes are the portals of discovery.
Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.
It is never too late to be what you might have been.
it is not easy that is for sure. I have been trying this past 2 weeks and have failed miserably. Tomorrow I'm working on throwing everything out that is not good for me or my family. I think this is the only way I will be able to make a new start.. I have ready set goals to limit to 2 sweets a week. I know that I can not cut it all out since I'm a chocolate foodie.. But I really need to reduce it a lot.. if I did this challenge alone with my very limited exercise due to mobility issues. I would still lose a lot more weight.
You can do it and are already taking steps to do so by being here with this challenge group.

I am taking this challenge to hopefully break my need for sweets. I have a temdency of eating sweet rightbwhen I get off work. Hopefully I can start replacing it. It might be hard to do right away but I think I can do it!
