Day three looks good. Although it has been a rough week I have stayed on track and away from sugar. My daughter is helping me by coming to my office for lunch. We have a salad and water and chat. It's awesome to spend that time with her. She has also told me that she wants to start going to the gym with me three times per week so that will help me stay on track at the gym as well.

Day 3 of Week 1. Today is a new day. Looking forward to continuing to stay on track. We had a snow storm in Eastern NC. Everything is covered and it will be easy to get cabin fever. I will stay busy and keep my mind off of being restricted and confined to indoors. Hope I can restrain.

I live in Eastern NC. Today we are suppose to be hit by a snow blizzard. I went to the store this morning to get a few things that my family needed before we are snowed in. At the chrckout, you know there are tons of different kinds of candies. In the past, it just seemed to bother me so much to see these candies especially snickers and milky way candy bars. This morning, I just passed them and did not give a second thought to any of my chocolate cravings. Thant felt sooooooo good.

Day 2 of the Sweet Tooth Challenge. Feeling successful this morning. Have to keep thinking positive thoughts and continue to look forward to keep my eye on my goal.

I have been adding a tsp of just cranberry Cranberry juice, which is super tart, been adding that to a large glass of water and sipping that over the day. Very refreshing!

Like my garden I need to nurture my body and soul to be my healthiest ever!!

That water recipe sounds good. I often add lemons or limes to water, but I'm definitely going to try the recipe! emoticon

The hot chocolate sounds wonderful. I agree-has to be difficult! Good job on drinking your water! I like this water recipe if you are interested:

Fat Flush Water
Ingredients
1/2 gallon water
6 wedges grapefruit
1 tangerine, sliced
cucumber, sliced
2 peppermint or mint leaves
Ice
Directions
Rinse grapefruit, tangerine, cucumber and mint leaves. Slice cucumber, grapefruit, and tangerine (or peel). Combine all ingredients in a half gallon pitcher. Allow the ingredients to sit for 2 hours for maximum benefits. Drink throughout the day.

I really have enjoyed it! Keep up the good work!

VERY impressed since I consumed 200 g of shortbread last night left over from Christmas visitors. The only consolation is there's no more in the house so no temptation there. emoticon

in weaning from the refined stuff. I decided against a hot chocolate at the park today because it was from a mix so I couldn't control the sugar and I'd have to log it in an approximate way meaning I wouldn't be giving myself a fully truthful calorific intake.

It wasn't easy to keep drinking my water when all the other Mums were sipping hot choc but I'm beginning to feel the headache subsiding so that's enough of a reminder
