Hi all, I haven't posted here yet-been on SP about a week & a half, I can't seem to quit having sugar cravings, or it's also a mind thing-think I will be satisfied if I eat them. Yes, FB is really good about those great desserts. I try to post healthy ones, but still doesn't fix the "fix"!

Or you can look at facebook only after a good and filling meal, LOL, yes I realize what I'm asking. emoticon
One of the problem with sugar and other high-carb foods is that it raises insulin which brings sugar levels in our blood down too much which is why we are hungry again every hour or two. Eat other foods that are higher in protein and especially that are higher in fact and you won't be hungry and not tempted as badly. I was amazed when I found out that after 2 weeks on a low-carb/high-fat diet I could suddenly resist the sweet temptations. Before just seeing them would get my brain into insulin-producing mode. This is classical conditioning and can be changed over time.

You can try using the unlike option for the offending (read tempting) sites and or photos.

Ugh. I hate checking my facebook and find delicious looking fudge pics or cake that will melt in your mouth pics, you get my drift. I'm doing fine until I see some of those pictures and that makes my sweet tooth go crazy. It makes me want to go hit the vending machine for something sweet to eat.
