I have found that the natural sugars in fruits are a great way to curb that sugar craving. Hope you find the help you need in this challenge.

ty :). i woke up this morning and my first thought was..mmmmm....brownies. but, thankfully my kids ate the last of them yesterday. i went to the food store last night and picked up crunchy veggies to snack on when i feel the pull to eat a cookie.

ty for your message. although i know this will be tough, i really am determined to get through this challenge and it is only day one. after a few days, i hope i feel better about it. and, maybe some of my, what i believe to be sugar induced headaches will subside as well.

Dear JO74555, you are in the right place and with the right challenge. I already did my 4 weeks as sugar has always been a problem for me and my father has type 2 diabetes and I want to avoid this too. I found the challenge really made me think about sugar differently and I found cutting down on it (and cutting it out altogether) was made easier by the support I got from the group. Stick with it - you can do it!

i, like many others, am doing this so i can prevent diabetes as i've already been warned that i am pre-diabetic. i'm afraid of all the medical issues associated with diabetes, like going blind and losing limbs, etc. i have a terrible sweet tooth and love all things bread. this is gonna be a long haul and i tend to get pissy when the road stays too rocky for too long. so..along with the challenge of limiting my sugar intake, i am also challenged in my attitude. :/
