Thanks Tinydbs, I had never heard of the candida style diet, but will sure read about it, so very strange that doctors just have you come back, and never suggest something that I can do. I am good so far, I have been having a small glass of wine in the evening, when I usually am looking for something sweet to stick in my mouth, and the wine so far seems to satisfy me.
I have rejoined because I have a ear infection *fungal) and everything I read on line suggests that sugar and carbs feed a fungal infection, well I am down 1 pound so far so that is motivation in itself, but trying to stay around 100 carbs a day, and no sugar other that what is everywhere, but limiting my fruits, because I ate so very much fruit daily. I go to the doctor weekly to have my ear cleaned out and checked so hopefully Fridays visit I will get good news.

I have joined this challenge because I am trying to prevent the onset of diabetes. I crave sweets every single day at around the same time. After I eat something sweet I usually feel pretty crappy. I would think that this would motivate me not to eat it but I repeat the same thing the next day. I eat sweets also when I am feeling down. I would like to give up sweets all together or be able to eat it in moderation.
