I've found a need A LOT of sugar free applesauce to each greek yogurt like yogurt. I like it best in a recipe or on a baked potato. Sweets...mmmmmm....yeah, I'm learning that replacing surgary stuff with over-ripe fruits like pineapple and mango is kicking the sweet tooth aside.

I love sweets and find that they trigger me into a cycle of eating that is not good- and I find when I eat things that are filled with sugar and I don't know it I do that same thing. Charting sweets is such a great idea. I'm hoping this challenge teaches me to find a middle ground.

read, brush your teet, just put it off a few minutes at a tiime til you can talk your self out of it? Use small hard candies, and make it last.....I have even tried eating m&m's one at a time! Sometimes it DOES help me put them away much sooner.!
I've found that even after eating healthy snacks, I'm still craving something sweet especially after dinner. I saw on the Dr. Oz show to take chromium polynicotinate so I starting taking that about a week ago, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything yet. I'll keep trying though. Any other tips?

I love sweets but I've noticed that i'm not losing as much weight as I would like because I eat too much sweets! This is the first challenge, that I feel like i can really do. Excited to be joining the group!

Hi Maddita, I joiined a few years ago but dropped out feeling overwhelmed...I think I joined too many groups at once!` I started again a couple months ago and started really slow. This sweet tooth challenge is the first I've joined. So far I have received lots of sweet encouragement which is truly better than most sweets I find myself craving. (Except chocolate, so far! ) I hope you get a better start this time too, so "GO FOR IT!"

Wow You have been a member for 2 years. I just started 6 weeks ago and this site has helped me so much. At least now I recognize sugar cravings and somewhat what the triggers are. Before I never analyzed these cravings - I just ate what I wanted. You can imagine what that did. Now I have to learn to eat differently and I am learning to say no to sweets. What a change. The weight is starting to go and I have planned to be where I want to be in 2 years time.
All the best as you take on this challenge. It is certainly one that helped me.
At the end of the day, be able to look back and say "I did my best today."

Hi guys. I've been a member of sparkpeople for about 2 years now but I have not done any challenges yet. I would say I am at a healthy weight at the moment, but I continue to gain 10-15 pounds over a few months, then lose it again. Sweets are problem for me, and I still feel like I have an all or nothing attitude when it comes to eating healthy. I just had a craving for sweets so I thought I would make my first post and I feel better already. I really want to get my cravings under control with this challenge and not feel like I need to eat sweets everyday.
