If I'm in a doctor's office, or some other place that I'm by myself and waiting for an appointment, or my client is sleeping, I will do some wall squats and wall push ups.

When bending to pick something up I make a point of stretching it out. I bend over (which is a chore in itself ) and kinda hold that position for a few seconds to get a better stretch. Every little bit helps !!

If I have to go into another room, or down cellar for a couple of different things, I make 2 trips rather than doing it all at once. That gives me extra steps and climbing the stairs twice.

I have been busy as all get-out lately, but our lawn doesn't care, it grows like crazy with all this spring rain. So, after a busy weekend out of town, getting to work yesterday, working out with weights and Spinning class after work at 8:30 pm with just a shred of daylight left I whip out the lawn mower to get'er'dun!

Share with us what you do to add exercise to your daily chores and daily activity.

It can be simple and short or silly and time consuming.

Here's one of mine !!

When emptying the washer to the dryer, I take only 2-3 pieces of clothes at a time. I bend doen to get them and then stand all the way up before grabbing the next batch. It basically is just a little stretching and muscle movement, but every little bit helps !!
