glad things are getting better love.my husband is the same he doesnīt understand me giving money out for books either for myself or the kids.and i donīt understand how he canīt see why books are worth every penny, lol.especially the ones you can read over and over or that yopu can learn from.oh well so is life.p.s i could easily spend more on books that clothes, lol.
I think what I mainly got from the article was the fact that it is important to keep talking about money matters.
"Eighty percent of married people spend money their spouses don't know aboutusually to avoid conflict"
I think a certain amount of that is ok. Certainly we don't want to make major purchases behind our spouses backs, but I should not have to ask permission (and don't!) each time I want to buy a book or magazine. (OTOH, I have to watch the books! Not that I will spend more than we can afford, but my husband does not like me buying so many books. I could spend 10 times more on clothing than a book, and he wouldn't care.)
You are right, I have been scarce. My husband has been very anxious and depressed this year. He was off work for awhile, and I really did not have much time for SP. Things are getting better.
