This will cover proteins, healthy fats & veggies. Since we're limited to 3 sticky topics, we'll combine these three like Suzanne does in her Sexy Forever book. To avoid constipation, be sure to incorporate the legal veggies with your protein meals to aid in digestion and the fiber helps keep you full.

Here is a quote I found interesting, especially after reading about so many Somersizers saying not to worry about the amount of your fat intake:

"If you weigh more than you'd like, keep your fat consumption low and stick to the recommended food combinations to boost your metabolism, says Suzanne Somers, who has authored nine food-combining recipe books."

The reason Suzanne may suggest limiting fats to lose weight may be because marilu Henner (who wrote the popular food combining book, Total Health Makeover) said, "Fats and oils combine with everything (except fruits) but should be used in limited amounts because while they won’t inhibit digestion, they will slow it down."
