I agree with Charming_Girl. I am not going to join the actual challenge, but I will donate food to my local food bank PLUS set aside $5.00 for every pound lost to give to myself once I've lost 100lbs.

This is a great idea!

Charming_Girl - Congrats on the 17lbs dropped! emoticon

I really like this challenge. I'm not going to join The Biggest Loser Pound for Pound Program but I will do this. I'm going to start off with it as a monthly goal for me. I will accumulate my pounds lost for the month and each pound lost will represent a pound of food for my local food bank. I will start with the entire month of January. So far I have lost 17 pounds this month!

The Biggest Loser has partnered with Feeding America to create the Pound for Pound program: www.pfpchallenge.com/

I'd like to make this thread a Pound for Pound PERSONAL Challenge!
YOU decide your personal rules.

What does each pound lost mean to you?

Make a pledge to yourself for each pound you lose.

Examples:
Each pound lost is a dollar or two saved towards a reward when you reach your goal
Each pound lost is a dollar you'll donate to your favorite charity
Each pound lost gives you 20 minutes of time to relax in your favorite way
Each pound lost is a new workout song from iTunes
Each pound lost will represent a pound of food for a local food bank
Each pound lost is a gold star on your calendar and a phone call with your best friend

Post your pledges here and let us know how you're doing on your personal challenge!

-Audra (from Northern California)

Wisdom from an Ivory Soap wrapper: "Enjoy the little things for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things."

If we wait for the moment when everything, absolutely everything, is ready, we shall never begin. -Ivan Turgenev

Dream big and then work to make those dreams come true! We're all stronger than we think we are!

Proud member of EPIC Tri.
