I am just proud that I went out with my sister and friends and DID NOT eat the chips at the beginning of the meal.

I am a full week ahead in chemistry I have yet to fully understand it, but it is coming enough to keep going. I will have time to review in class discussion.

I did everything I set out to do today and still had time leftover to relax and watch tv. Proving to myself that I CAN find time in my day to do ANYTHING I set my mind to.
Rather than aiming for being perfect, just aim to be little bit better today than you were yesterday.

I drove by McDonald's instead of stopping when the kids begged. I knew if I stopped for them, the temptation for me to get something too would be too great.

I put in a big effort at the gym - pushing myself! 15 rowing intervals - 45 sec on, 15 sec rest Then some strength training Then 30 minutes on the treadmill and foam rolling!

I went to the grocery store today and stocked up on healthy foods: nonfat Greek yogurt, low fat cottage cheese, pineapple, bananas, blueberries, mini bagels and hummus. I am trying not to beat myself up over the fact that I am probably going to be over on my calorie count today. Trying to focus instead on the trip to the grocery store for healthy foods and also on the 40 minute walk that I took this morning. :)

Yesterday I was frustrated because I've been gaining and losing the same four pounds over the last week. Well, yesterday I had some things to do around the house and I am usually so tired after each activity that I have to sit down and rest (especially since I now live in a three story townhome). Plus, once I sit down, I don't generally get up! Anyway.. was able to do the following in about an hours time WITHOUT sitting down and resting!!
1) Made three trips to bring up three boxes of my free weights. I carried 104 pounds over three trips up 1.5 flights stairs and I was breathing heavy but I didn't have to stop. THEN:
2) Cleaned out my kitty's automatic cleaning litterbox (washed it) and vacuumed the first level floor.
3) Washed a sinkload of dishes!!
WOOHOO!!! I wasn't as frustrated or upset about the weight gain when I realized I could do all of that!!

I was tired at work and really did not want to go workout. I did not let that deter me. I powered through 30 mins of strength training and 1 hr of water aerobics.

I made it through a 45 minute workout and managed to keep my HR down in the strength/endurance zone so that I did not over do it.

I started a new and much longer full body strength training program, fully equipped with new machines. I even had a friend who works at the gym teach my how to use them correctly. The one is funky and i thought i was going to fly right out of it!
