Regardless of their paycheck, I couldn't imagine being a celebrity. I would hate to have the outside world judging my life by an hour of camera time.

I would love to be on the biggest loser but I feel like all reality shows have so much lost on the cutting room floor plus added manufactured drama, I don't think I could do it.

I would have to agree with you on this. I have her on my facebook feed, and she says she's always given her contestants the suppliment. The whole thing just reeked of a publicity stunt. It was like, "oooo..... scandal on The Biggest Loser!!!" It just FELT so manufactured. This was the first season in a while I'd been as excited about the contestants as I am. Holley was actually on an episode of MTV's True Life, and I really liked her there, so I excited to see her here. I'm saddened that this has kind of tainted the season (and hopefully not the whole show) for me. While I don't nesessaritly agree with everything about the show, or some of the contestant's motivations, I think they really inspire people to start making changes in their lives. I just looked at the TV screen last Tuesday night and said, "Really?????". I hope Jillian doesn't leave either. She's a very good trainer with so much depth behind the drill sargent.

I can tell this thread hasn't been very active but I have to say, the recent Jillian/Ruben thing is just ridiculous. I listen to her podcasts and she's always been a supporter of caffeine supplements. (I don't remember the exact milligrams but it was a reasonable amount of caffeine). She also has issues with coffee due to pesticides. (she's HUGE on going organic whenever possible.) I honestly believe that the Biggest Loser just found themselves a way to get a celebrity contestant back on the show. I just hope this doesn't result in Jillian leaving the show for good.

Does anyone remember Christine from Season 11? She had lost about 100 lbs before coming on the show. Evidently some guy trolled her FB and told her congrats on the weight loss but "you're still ugly"

Who does that? I know there are horrible people out there but really? that's just terrible.

I enjoyed the show to. It is motivating to see how hard people work on losing weight and exercising. I also enjoy watching Extreme Weight Loss Makeover with Chris Powell. They show that in the summer and sometimes the reruns are on Sunday afternoons. He follows his people for a year and I think it is more realistic because they are still working/going to school. Too bad there is not more Chris Powell's out there! ( :

I love this show. I wish I could go on it. I love Bob. The way he inspires people just puts me at awe. I wish there were more things out there that would help people get inspired to lose weight that don't cost a fortune.

It is coming back in October. Just watched the whole last season on Hulu and the "coming back in October" commercial came on every time.

I have to say, I would LOVE results like Danni's. She amazed/inspired me.

I was hoping that Jeff went home. I'm glad that the white team survived another week. I'm a big fan of the person with the smallest percentage going home. The team went strategic and sent home someone that they were afraid of and not someone that wasn't pulling their weight, so to speak. It was nice to see that David's doing so well at home, though. In the end, his team was right, he was motivated enough to do the work at home.

I generally hope for a female winner. There are so few in the shows history. I just love watching the transformations. Maybe Jeff will clean up his act after last week's performance.

I was so afraid that Danni was going to go home. I really click with her and her situation. I really don't like the guy on Bob's team, I think his name is Jeff. He's just... grrrr.

True, Bob has an interesting mix this year. His player was the one that yelled at Jillian last week, right? I must admit, I'm surprised that hasn't happened before. I don't think I'd enjoy her coaching, either. I already know how to be mean to myself about this weight. Don't need your assistance!

I am on the fence about the children. While I'm glad that they are learning to take charge of their health at an early age, I don't like the way they were paraded in front of the audience on the first day. I would actually like to see a children's home teams (From different schools, maybe) that work with their families. Just like TBL gifted the schools with gym equipment, they could gift them with trainers during gym time and healthy lunch options for the duration of the show. This show has made hundreds of millions from it's website, video games, supplements, advertisers, etc. They could do something bigger and better. It might help revive interest in the show. The formula's getting stale and (judging by the weigh-ins) ineffective.

Bob's team just annoys me... pretty much all of them! But they keep getting very lucky on the scale. I really like Danni and the Red Team is okay. Hoping one of them can hang on to take it. And I love the older girl - she's just awesome. I bet she's going to wrap her head around it and look amazing by the finale.

I know they don't seem to be putting up big numbers expect for the first week. It seemed that they bumped up the intensity in the workouts this past week.

I like the white team too, especially with Danni as the only player left. I like Dolvett & Bob's team too. I'm not really rooting for a particular person yet. I just didn't want Danni to leave.

As far as the children, I want them all to succeed. I wish that they would have done this years ago. I'm like them and have had issues since I was teen.

Hey Jenn:

It's funny. I feel like I'm still waiting for the season to start. They've been showing a lot of personality stuff so far. The workouts still look as grueling as ever, but for the first time, but the larger men aren't putting up the large numbers like they normally do at the beginning of the season. I wonder what the coaches will do to get those scales moving?

Besides that, I don't know who I'm hoping will win. I really liked the White team, but they're done. For now, I'm just hoping for the best for the children.

Yeah!!! These are the kind of low weigh-in numbers you see at the end of the season when everyone's fairly close to their goals.

The drama's a big turn-off. In past seasons, you didn't know much about the contestant's personalities. You knew their circumstances in life, but there wasn't enough individual camera time on them to know if you'd really like them or not. Goodness, couples left the Ranch engaged without you ever seeing footage of them dating or near each other!

I have always been a diehard Biggest Loser fan. I think this season is one of the worst, especially as far as drama is concerned. I wish every season could be like last season where almost everyone got along and they were all there for one common goal.

Just remember they were on strike for a week and there was a challenge we didn't to see unless we went online. So from what I read off facebook that was at least 2 weeks they had to lose X amount of weight. :)

But, I do want to say I did not like her in the beginning but having seen how hard she has worked is making her my current favorite...can't wait 'til next week!

I can't believe that Kim dropped soooooo much weight in the last week. That was insane! She is beyond focused, but I have no idea how she could possibly lose much more.

Conda has been nasty from the beginning. I'm not thrilled she made it to the end.

And I don't get Mark or Buddy leaving... they could have WON the show. I wonder if they get to participate in the at-home prize - guessing not, since I don't think Rulon got to.

Last nights episode was crazy!! Mark and Buddy both walked off the show!! Now I get and understand their reasons...I have often thought it was unfair to bring back an elimanted player...but the at home people deserve a chance to get into the final just as much as anyone...for some the only reason why they went home was because they didn't become popular with the group that makes it to the end LOL

Not to mention the fact that they said "suprise and twists" Suprise my fanny lol It happens every season AND it's in their contract!!!

But hey!!! On the bright side!! Kim made it to the finals....I really wish Jeremy had...I believe he deserves to be there and not Conda!! Conda was babied the whole season by her brother!!

Without a struggle...there's no way to measure success!

I'm very glad that Kim made it through this week! She's very inspirational!

I have done the same type of thing that Chris did... eating to punish yourself... it's a nasty thing to do. I hope the family does well going forward.

I thought this whole last show was really great - other than Conda and her brother behaving badly at the challenge... the surfing part was amazing - made me totally want to try that, too!

I thought this past week in Hawaii was really motivational. Being able to do all the stuff they were doing and not worry about whether or not I can is my biggest motivation for losing weight. I also loved how Kim was in a bikini. I know a big concern for me was how my body was ever going to even resemble looking normal after being so big. I've still got a ways to go to get to her weight so it was nice to see how great she looks after losing 74 pounds in just 3 months and still being in the 170s.

I really hate when the contestants are nasty. It's like the season that Vicki and Heba were on. Vicki brought so much drama and nastiness into the house, that it made the show hard to watch. I hope Conda is the next to go... there are a couple on red who are really good people, and I'm hoping that the good hearts prevail!

I am not enjoying the show that much either, mainly because I think there are some bad attitudes on the show and people who are causing drama and the show isn't portraying these people in the light they need to be portrayed in. I have never seen a cast where there seems to be drama like this season. Even the trainers, like Bob, know what is going on but they can't do anything about it or say anything for some reason.

I feel bad for some people having to deal with the brunt of these peoples behavior. I actually dislike a few of the cast members and usually I don't feel that way. Go Daphne for whooping Conda's butt - it may not feel good to make her cry - but she needed that defeat.

I am not enjoying the show as much this season. There is so much drama and not enough weight loss. I haven't seen numbers this low in a while. The first to 100 did all but 11 pounds off the ranch!

I am glad that Aqua is back. I am not sure if they threw the WI or not looks like almost everyone had a bad week.

I was sad to see Nancy go.

Conda wasn't even doing full burpees! She was barely moving her feet back at all! I was a little outraged over her behaviour, to... had to laugh at Bob's outbursts... The energy certainly is high voltage between the two teams!

I do like Dolvett and Bob together, lots of motivation. But the contestants..oh wow, that Conda chick, what a nasty person! And the dude that quit? Lame.
