October goals.... Working on this... will get more detailed as I get closer to each day LOL... just learning to "be" right now So I can sleep every night for 8 hours.
continue with sleeping 8 hours a night.
loose one pound a week, or more.
exercise everyday: water aerobics and strength and cardio
stay focused on my sleep (it's essential to my weight loss)
so I will try to keep track of this everyday ...
1. (monday): 4 hours of sleep last night, but that's alright I slept a lot over the weekend; water aerobics, ball leg strengthening exercises, lap swimming.
2. strength training today, slept for 10 hours, ate within my calorie range.
3. Water aerobics, cardio on the rowing machine, broken sleep 5 hours then 3 hours
4. NO SLEEP :( , going to aerobics and then do cardio and some strength training.
5.I SLEPT!!! Did my 60 minutes of aerobics this morning and my body pretty much went kaput throughout the day. SO... when my body had had it, I simply surrendered. OH Glorious wonderful sleep.

12. Getting an average of 8 hours sleep, depression is a bit better today. Maintaining my workouts through out the week and taking it easy on the desire to do more right now. I have to let my back get sorted out before I push it too much. Meals are going alright, not much of an appetite and coming in a few days under my calorie goals this week. I have to pay more attention to that.
Had a breakthrough from the depression today, it came from my work out. I focused on what I was doing with each movement and each stroke (I swam) I took. I paid attention to my form, to the way my body felt in the water and when I was done with everything I wanted to get done (I was too tired to do anything else)... I realized that all my worries and cares seemed to have slipped away. SO I took care of some nagging business that I had been putting off and everything is good! Today life is good.

22. I am staying focused on my goals and my journey. This is my birthday "week". For me, it is always a time of reflection, recommitment and making adjustments in my life. I have been tired for a week, but I haven't stopped working out or let my mind get slack about the nutritional needs of my body. I have taken account of my goals and I am recommitting to each and every one of them.

I can't establish goals, This may seem like a false position, but I am bipolar. I find it hard to remember to do anything on a regular.basis. Believe me this very hard for Bob to live with.

Depression is the impression left by fear. Be willing to fight the fear. Conquer it with love.

Right now my goal is to get my ankle back to where I can walk again, other than short distances. It's so swollen tonight I can barely walk. Naturally I can't find my good cane so I'm hobbling along

Been thinking about this and I think I've got it!
First of all, I want to be down to 214 pounds by the end of October. And I have been trying to get myself motivated to exercise... so I am going to dust off my gazelle and get on it everyday and build up my time on it, I am going to use it for (at least) the minutes corresponding to the date each day. (1minute on the first, 2 minutes on the second, etc.) By the end of the month I should be able to do 31 minutes at a time. Plus a friend of mine has a workout room and pool in her neighborhood. She has invited me to come work out with her a few days a week. By the end of October, exercise should be a normal part of my life.
