I am so far behind on this but I have not forgotten about the new food. We picked up a "pummelo" at the store this weekend. It looks like and is the size of a lime but it is supposed to have fleshy pink fruit inside. I will try it before the week is out. I also bought tofu and looked up some recipes to try right here on Spark. It does not expire until March so I have some time with that one.

As far as "fun" goes, between DH's pneumonia and my infection we don't have that kind BUT we did go out for supper last Friday night and that was fun!

On Sunday I found the 1/2 of my kitchen table that doesn't get used so it gets piled with papers. I am happy to report it is still clear a day later!

Haven't posted in a bit....

Got my stretching in -- do that as part of my PT exercises every day -- but added in some more leg stretches too... emoticon

Do something "special" for myself...guess my taking time to go shopping with my neighbor was "special" since I RARELY go clothes shopping -- plus it was fun to do it with a friend --which is rare! Is that "special" enough?? If so.....then emoticon

Yesterday I "decluttered" my bag I carry with me when I do clinics (has my stethoscope etc in it).... Does that count as "some spot"?? emoticon

Not sure about today's... I DID clean my washer/dryer out -- wiped down the knobs/buttons, wipes out the "crevices" of the washer lid etc...Plus dusted the tops etc. Does that count as "some house cleaning"?? Not really my "house" but something IN my house... I did wipe down my counters etc -- but don't really consider that "cleaning" -- although I wiped down the stove knobs, emptied the toaster crumb pans & wiped it's knobs down etc which I don't do EVERY day...but again, not "real" cleaning in my opinion.... So today might have been "half goal met"??? LOL....

I got the declutter some spot done--had a pile on the counter since before Christmas so worked on that. I found my list from October and November!! Still don't have them done..... But I managed to get Sunday's challenge done!

Hubby likes the "do something fun" but he will most likely be out of town on Friday. emoticon Looks like he'll leave Wed and come home Sat.

I am behind--I get everything done but not in the right order!! Still haven't had my fun--still hoping!! emoticon

DD2 and I did a new recipe for supper--came out okay! And DD3 has rented her skies for the season--she didn't call the credit card company to get her limit bumped up and so she'll have to go back to run the credit card after the payment is received. (She should have no trouble getting another $500 added--but we told her to call last summer.....she still hasn't and called us for ideas of what to do--well, call them was my input--she was ticked.)

I start the day with 2 cups of water--first thing, cold. Makes it really easy to get my 8 glasses of water during the day--even when I teach. The first 2 cups first thing, then a cup of tea, 2 cups after the kids leave, 2 cups at dinner and another herb tea in the evening. (I DO count weak tea as water--not coffee but the tea.)

So--water met!

Got my water in today so emoticon

Yes, I liked the new salad dressing. It's different. I don't use much -- usually put a little in a dish and dip my fork -- but actually put this new stuff over the baby spinach since it's "lighter". Won't ever be my "fav" I don't think, but DH really likes it -- SO will probably get it again! emoticon

Did walk yesterday -- so met that goal....

Today I tried a new salad dressing -- a pomegranate vinaigrette -- does that count?? Also used a new BRAND of baby spinach...LOL...

Since you didn't say it had to be a new HEALTHY food, can a new kind of donut count??!! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Try a new food--I got a can of sliced mango--I have had fresh and did NOT enjoy trying to cut that so thought I'd give the canned version a try. Don't bother--get the fresh! This was almost mushy and too sweet--it had a light syrup. I do like the tropical fruits but fresh would be better. DD2 was in Guam with her choir a few years ago and she had lots of fresh ones that trip--it was about the end of the season and people were giving them away!!

OOPS -- got really off track here -- funny though I sent some goodies tonight BEFORE I read this list --- so I guess I met that goal a day late!

Didn't do a video yet -- I LOVE them though -- have used them in the past and WAS actually previewing some to see if they were something I'd want to use (a few using the stability ball) -- so will do this in the not too distant future (probably this weekend when I have more time to figure things out etc)....

And I DID stretches -- again BEFORE reading this list!! LOL.... So inadvertently met that goal!! YAY!

Tomorrow I WILL be crossing something off "my list" -- but I planned to do it WAY before you posted this challenge list - so not sure if that's "cheating"....??! emoticon

I'm attending a CE seminar - which I have to do to maintain my nursing license -- and you have to register for them ahead of time... So it was on my "to do list" for early this year (they have to be done before I renew my license) -- to finish up some credits on the computer and then attend this workshop all day... Not sure I'll get anything else crossed off my list....
