That's awesome, Debbie!! I know that Dr Joel Fuhrman (and others) are helping to cure diabetics (off meds, blood sugars normalized) though whole-foods recipes like yours! So glad it's helping you!! :) If you need other resources, let me know - I am currently doing research on Food as Medicine and doctors (mostly mainstream docs, as those are the ones with "good reputations" in the medical world, and thus the ones I can use to defend my positions with the docs I work with) who are healing "uncurable" diseases through healthy lifestyles and mostly plant-based whole foods diets!

This cereal has helped to keep my Diabetes in normal range and even go off some of my meds.

In a bowl with kind of high sides for the microwave I put...
1 small banana sliced evenly on bottom of bowl
1/4 c. real Oat bran
1/2 c water
Without stirring microwave 2 minutes
for added protein i ad a couple Tablespoons of either greek yogurt, cottage cheese or chopped nuts or raw sunflower seeds and stir.

It should be nice and smooth and anturally sweet. I add a little more water that it calls for
