You have a pretty expensive mask. Mine is around $50. on cpap.com.

Do you need a prescription to buy on e-bay? I wonder if I can get parts too. That would sure be a big help.

Is it spring yet in your neck of the woods? We are having a late summer in Oregon. It is stunningly beautiful. The weather has stayed dry and mild. The trees are just starting to think about changing to their fall colors.

I checked out ebay for cpap parts and masks the other day and was surprised to find how much cheaper the masks were from the USA. The mask i use retails for around 300 dollars here in Adelaide yet I was able to buy one for $110.00 on ebay from the USA.

I don't know how many Aussie members we have, but there are quite a few of you on SP in general. I agree shipping out of our resident countries would be cost prohibitive. glad you are checking on your usage compliance and updating equipment. I am in good shape right now too. Just need to check the filters in the morning.

This is a great idea, I think it will work predominantly for people in the US because shipping costs would outweigh the other costs for some things.

I am going to be ringing my cpap nurse tomorrow to organise a review of my machine and my use of it to make sure i am using it right, I seem to be leaking air from the mask. I am lucky that i have health insurance that will assist with the cost of incidentals to maintain my machine, I just have to save a little for the gap payments. But I have been frugal over Christmas so should be able to get the parts I need.

Taking a leap of faith that we are all honest during this season of love and compassion. I have spare hoses. They are all used, but still no leaks. I also have an old machine (pre computerized memory card). I have saved it for emergencies, but realize now since a dear team member sent me spare masks, that it is better to share and open my heart than to hoard for an emergency.

Many of our new members have to wait a long time to get new equipment and some of our old members are insuranceless and on fixed incomes, so some swapping might help us find homes for our spare equipment and net us some much needed equipment at the same time.

Peace and Blessings
