This challenge helped me to make it a habit of tracking most especially my food and highlighting the areas of improvement I need to make in my workout routine which will comprise eventually more strength training (building muscle) as well as the cardio at least 30 minutes a day during the week taking at least one day off and mixing it up to keep my body surprised and keep losing until I hit my goal.

it has been good. for one thing it's gotten me into the spark videos! There's a lot to choose from! and have probably lost 2 lbs... not much BUT I'm at the "end"....only have 6 lbs to go and I'm thinking they go off even slower... am noticing I'm stronger...it's easier for me to do some of the exercises... glad I did it!!

Technically tomorrow is my last day but I thought I'd share my thoughts today.
I haven't seen any pounds come off, but I have noticed I look more toned in my stomach, legs and arms. I feel really good too. This week I started to feel like every waking moment that I wasn't at work, was spent at the gym. And it was beginning to feel more exhausting. My long term goal would be to keep up the 30 minutes of cardio each day. I had been doing 15-20 before this challenge. I'd also like to keep up the strength training videos. February will be the 28-day challenge from Nicole, so I'm excited to start that!

It's not my official weigh-in day, so I'm going to wait to change my tracker. But 4 weeks in, and as of this morning I've lost a total of 11.5 pounds! I can't believe I've actually stuck with this for 4 weeks, and I'm really excited for the next 4!

Congratulations to everyone who has completed this challenge!

I've lost only 2 pounds of my Final 15. But, I have lost inches, so I'm definitely making good progress. And I know I'm building muscle, because my body is feeling much more toned. I can now comfortably fit into my clothes, which I couldn't say a month ago.

Next stop for me will be the 28 Day Bootcamp challenge, starting tomorrow. And I'll be starting the Sweet Tooth Challenge today.

Blessings to everyone! Keep up the awesome work!

Completed my four weeks and I feel absolutely amazing. I feel stronger, more motivated and in control. It's been a rough month outside of my fitness and nutrition goals, but I'm proud to say I'm sticking with it. I definitely plan to continue the patterns and habits I've learned through this challenge. I'm down almost 13.8 pounds in just four short weeks and I wore a pair of dress pants to work yesterday that are two sizes smaller than I wore when I started the challenge.

Last day of the callenge and I have risen to it and stuck with doing a workout each day plus kept my steps going and am doing 10,000 plus a day. This challenge has really jumpstarted my fitness and weight loss progamme this year and helped me keep my New Year's resolution alive. 10 lbs gone - although of those 10 lbs, 5 had been regained over Christmas. I am still 5 lbs lighter than on Christmas Eve though which isn't a bad achievement.

Day 25 - today I did two videos and 60 minutes of Zumba. emoticon I've been good at getting in the 5 servings, but not today. I really like most of the videos and will incorporate them into my schedule after the challenge for strength training. emoticon

It's been a good week. I've been walking home from work every day so that counts as part of my cardio. I've also incorporated circuit training almost every day. Overall, I'm proud of myself.

Week 4 Day 3 - I have been very good at getting in 5 servings of fruits and veggies thanks to Week 3 challenge. I plan to keep up this habit as I am full longer and they are quick and easy! I also plan to keep doing a video once a day. I am up early every day and have found it very easy to fit in a 10 minute workout before I start my day. It's like having a personal trainer!
Just by doing the toning videos over the past several weeks - I see results - especially in my arms.... love the definition!

This week has been a weird one but I have managed to stay active and done my videos. I have not weighed myself, as my Trainer has forbidden me to look at the scale for at least two weeks! haha. I do feel somewhat better and I am improving on my sessions with my Trainer as well.

I am going to continue my exercise, and add in more extensive time and levels on my elliptical and try to start doing yoga again! I will continue to do the bootcamp videos as they are good for my cardio and strength, and Of course I will continue my weekly sessions with my trainer! emoticon

I am also trying to get my body ready for some extensive hiking I'm going to be doing in March, so I will definitely be maintaining and expanding my workouts!

After four weeks I weighed myself and i have lost 6 lbs, not reflected in my bar because it is wrong. I feel great!!! I am getting complements at work too and that just motivates me even more to keep going. I also tried on a dress from high school last night and I can fit into it!! Even more motivation!!! I am so glad that I finally was able to get out of my head and just do this. I feel so much better on the days I do work out than the days I don't.

Day 5 of the last week. While I'm disappointed that I wasn't able to amp up the cardio, I'm proud of myself for doing the videos everyday. Having said that, my goal from this point is to continue to do at least one video a day on top of other strength and toning workouts. Before the challenge I was doing cardio 2-3 times a week so I'll continue that.

It felt really good last night when my friend looked at my arms and called them "little", YESSS!!!

I've really enjoyed this challenge. I'll take measurements on Saturday. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the videos!!

Tomorrow is my official completion date. I did not actually start until 1/5 therefore I consider this Saturday to be the end of the fourth week.

I am disappointed in myself for not completing this challenge 100%. Even though I did not do a video every day I made some major improvements in my life. My biggest accomplishment was signing up and attending Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes. For me this is a big accomplishment. I was a member 3 years ago and have been planning on joining again. After three years I finally motivated myself. This was mainly due to them moving closer to my place of employment but getting more active through Sparkpeople and PS3 exercise games also contributed a lot.

I travel a lot for my job which makes it very difficult to attend classes or complete Sparkpeople videos every day. For some reason hotels do not like you jump and running in our room? At least they have treadmills so I can get some cardio in.

My goal is to make time for BJJ classes at least 8 times a month. This does not sound aggressive until I get to a month where I am on the road for 3 straight weeks.

Another goal is to complete EA sports Active 2ís 9 week program. I have fallen behind for the same reasons I have not completed 100% of the Sparkpeople videos. I was using this for the majority of the extra cardio work. I am currently in the fourth week of this program with 2-3 makeup sessions to do. After the completion of the 9 week program I am planning to take my exercise outdoors and start training for this yearís Warrior Dash (5K run with obstacles.)

Done. This week I have done the videos daily, repeated three during the week, done 30 minutes plus of cardio on six days. I have logged my food and eaten my freggies.

Medium term plan is to repeat weeks 3 and 4 of the challenge through February, then moving on I want to continue doing a SparkPeople video every day, plus another 30 mins plus of exercise five days a week.

My goal is to be able to jog my 100 steps without getting out of breath so I can ramp up to longer distances, (currently I try to jog 100 steps and walk 200 while walking on suitable terrain) and also to be able to to exercises like the plank and pushups without having to resort to the "easy" alternatives. Weight loss and increased fitness will help, and it does seem that exercise is the key I have been lacking.

I have never completed a fitness challenge before - and I enjoyed it!

I'm almost finished with the Challenge. From here I plan to deliberately include strength training 3 times per week to my 6 days per week of cardio. I'll choose specific exercises. I will also try various videos on another day of the week to increase my list of exercises and keep myself from only doing the familiar..

Finally back at it. I'll double up a little since I was sick last week. Finally feeling much better. Hoping the exercise gives me some more energy.

I have to tack on a few days since I was derailed last week to finish off. I intent to keep the 7 videos as part of my routine for awhile because I really need the toning!

Had to skip Sunday (my Day 6) as I was out all day, but apart from that I have managed to stay on track - and even on Sunday I managed the video!

I repeated Day 6 on Monday and am now just about ready to finish up. Did the final video - 15-minute abs workout - this morning, and just have to repeat that (when I've recovered from 1st time through!) and get a cardio walk in, then I'll be done.

Moving on, I'll be keeping up the exercise - especially the video first thing - it sets me up for the day.

Great challenge!

Day23...did 35min on the treadmill, regular video and bonus video of upper arms sculpt. I decide to shake things up a bit with my treadmill routine. I saw a blog on Spark enttitled the 500-calorie treadmill workout and thought I'd give it a try. It consisted of 3 reps as follows: 4mph x 5min, 6mph x 3min, 7mph x 1min, and 3mph x 1min. Normally I would do 30min at 4.5mph. The new routine was a little too challenging so I modified it to 3 reps of 4.5mp x5min, 5.5mph x 3min, 3.5mph x 1min. Still quite a challenge to me. Planning on a strong finish for week 4!

Today is Day#1 of week 4 for me. I did today's video twice and will continue to do so with the rest of the videos for the week. I had a really nice long walk this evening with my dogs.

I've already bought a couple of exercise videos to use once this challenge is completed. I bought SP's Total Body Sculpting and Jackie Warner's Xtreme Timesaver Training. I'm already looking ahead to my next challenge with these two videos!!
