Completed the week - Did a repeat of videos 3x this week. Got in extra cardio every day and also tracked food. Long term goal is to make sure and continue getting cardio and toning exercise in and up the toning/strength a little more.
Congrats to all!

I finished - I feel good but tired - I enjoyed the challenge the hardest part for me was finding time to post everyday and was you can see that didn't happen it's a good thing a keep a journal. I keep it with me at all time to write everything down what I eat, exercise, water etc. I found it keeps me accountable. Now that this challenge is over on to the next one, best of luck to everyone in their next adventure.

I lost 5 lbs, which is nothing to squawk negatively about, by any means. I got myself into new exercise programs - SP videos that I'd never done before! I greatly enjoyed being accountable. Thank you, SP! I'm gonna do the 28 Day Bootcamp Challenge next....unless a February Challenge pops up instead. ;)

Well, I did it. I lost all 12 pounds I gained over the holidays. The bloated up feeling is gone, my belly bulge is gone and I'm fitting into my jeans much better now. They're not tight anymore. I'd like to lose a few more pounds and keep it off all year round. The weather is warmer now so I'm starting to do more walking, so this will help. I sell Avon on the side and started walking to my customers residents so this has helped as well.

I was out-of-town most of last week staying at a hotel with no wireless internet so I couldn't do the videos :(. I did a lot of walking and hiking.. Food choices were mostly made for me by the convention operators, but I tried hard to make good choices and use the Sparkpeople portion control tips. Overall I gained 2# ~~ could have been worse.
So I'm going to do week 4 over again and do it right!

Well the Jumpstart has ended with a feeling of success. Throughout the month I still managed to eat healthy and try to keep my portions under control. Even the trip down here my choices were better than they have been in the past. The first week was busy with packing and cleaning to get ready to head for Florida. With the over 10,000 steps I was managing to get in there was no exercising done. I did feel good with accomplishing the steps and being extremely busy getting extra cleaning done so felt the exercising was included in that retrospect. The second week was about the same with cleaning the house, trying to get unpacked and the many errands that needed to be done. Once again getting in well over 10,000 steps most days and with the up and down movement of cleaning I feel that in itself was my exercises. Friday of week 2 on the 13th I checked out a gym. She allowed me a week free to see if this is what I wanted and yes I did join the following week. That day I did 60 mins of Aerobics and after doing only 10 mins I wanted to quit. If I had been doing that at home I may have done a little more but would have given up. Just looking around the room and seeing all those people most 20 years older than me kept me going. Sat. I worked on my Wii fit plus and Sun. we had purchased a bow flex so I did that for 20 mins. Week 3: Mon: Aerobics -60 mins. / was shown how to use the equipment. Tues: Did my own with the Wii fit / Bow Flex for 20 min/ Walked around this huge house for steps and around the hosp. Wed: Aerobics-60 mins. /Did circuit training on the exercise equip. Thurs: Zumba Gold -60 mins. / Yoga-30 mins Fri: Aerobics -60 mins. / Bow flex 20 mins. My weigh in showed a 2 lb. loss and 1 ½”. I believe I have done that correctly now for my 4th and final week. Week 4: Mon: Aerobics-60 mins. / I am bound and determined to master the Nordic Track, only after 2 mins. my legs felt like limp noodles. Tues: I decided to check out the Yoga class only to discover I was an hour early so I circuit trained instead. I would have joined the Yoga class but had a guy stopping by the house to measure for blinds. Wed: Aerobics-60 mins. / Nordic Track 4 mins. / Bike ride 15 mins. Thurs: Zumba Gold-60 mins. / Yoga 30 mins. / Nordic Track 4 mins. Fri: Aerobic- 60 mins / Nordic Track 4.3 mins. Sat: Wii Fit Plus-22 mins. / Nordic Track 10 mins. Sun: After pasting this to the January Jumpstart Discussion Board I plan on going for a bike ride and after my honey gets off the couch the Wii dance video. I will enter another feed wants my accomplishments have been done. Even though my first 2 weeks were not done properly it will be continued until I reach my goal weight. My weigh in on Sat was frustrating because it showed that I never had a 2 lb. loss but when I measured myself there was a 2 1/2” difference. I gave my scale one more chance this morning and I was down the 4 lbs. So within these two weeks I have lost 4 lbs. and a total of 4”. My intake of vegetables and fruits have increased and less of the red meats. Keep on going you fellow sparkers because you are all beautiful people. Love ya!
My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely.

One more day, today, for me.
I feel like this has really helped to motivate me to continue. I'm feeling good and ready to go. I had to take a few days off this week because I had surgery to remove an ovarian cyst (fun!) on Wednesday but I'm back in the game for today and moving forward.
I'm ready to lose the rest of my weight and be healthy and happy!

This was a great challenge for me to get back to my exercise routine. Week 3, I was not able to complete because of a bad neck spasm, but my plan is to finish it. I went out and bought the 28-day bootcamp yesterday and will begin that as well. It is funny how you feel you deprived yourself when you don't exercise on a daily basis. This was the start to a lifetime committment for me. Thanks, Coach Nicole!

I feel really good about completing my Challenge. Since I'm just getting over an accident, I wasn't sure I could do it - but it worked.. I found exercises I could use on "good" days and "bad" and will continue using them. Thanks a bunch!

Wow. I surprised myself, again. This is the second time in two months that I've pushed my body in order to hit a deadline. As much as I like the (physical) results, the greater victory has been a profound sense of respect for my body.
Years and years of dissatisfaction with the number on the scale or the tape measure or not wearing single-digit clothing sizes, I've only recently realized that I need to step back from the "number" and focus more on what I can do.
Long-term goals will include: habituation to physical activity as a part of daily living. I want it to be so ingrained that I don't have to "think" about it.

Before joining this team, I thought that the challenge would be hard for me or maybe that I would not get through it but I did and I could never be more proud of myself and all of you team members :). The 3 videos I put on repeat this week was the 9-minute Total Lower Body Workout,10-minute Pilates Hips and Thighs Workout and the 9-minute Arm Sculpting Workout. I picked the workout videos due to what area needs the most work and I am quite happy with the results, so I will continue to use these vids in the next month. My long term goals is to track my food a lot more, exercise at least 10 minutes a day and to drink more water everyday. Congrats! to all of you for completing the challenge :D.

Wasn't able to exercise everyday due to my schedule, but I did get in over 200 minutes each week and I did do each video, even if I had to double up. I will do think Workout again.

Final Week, Last Day. I accomplish the one thing I wanted to do with this challenge and that's create a habit of exercising. Now I feel like I'm missing something if I don't exercise each day, even if it is only for 10 minutes. Now I know I can squeeze exercise into my busy schedule.

Wheeeew...finished Week 4 day 7 and the 28-day challenge is done! My long term goal is to maintain a minimum of 30 min cardio at least 5-6 days a week and stength training a minimum of 6 days a week. Tuesdays is my scheduled off day for ST as my official weigh-in day is Wednesday.
Finally finished. This is the first challenge I have ever started on here and finished for that matter. Have consistently done 5 days a week of cardio ranging from Taebo (kickboxing), Zumba, Walk Away the Pounds, and just this week -30 Day Shred with Jillian and the videos for each day. Monday is my official weigh-in day.
