I'm halfway through week 4 and just realized I forgot to post a week 3 update! I managed to keep up with all videos last week and squeezed in cardio every day for 30 minutes except one day. Week 4 is going strong. We're in the home stretch, almost there!!!

finished week 3 yesterday. Overall I am down a few pounds but this week I didn't lose anything. This week I cut back on my exercise and also indulged a bit more. So it's not exactly a shock. What I am learning is that I really do have an emotional connection to food. No, I am not a binge eater, and I usually feel in control....so I always thought I didn't have a "problem" and my weight gain was mostly mysterious. Wrong. The last three weeks of logging my food have shown me I eat too much throughout the day by nibbling here and there. I am really proud of myself for the improvement I have made this month. My jeans fit better, I feel so much BETTER---none of my usual bloating or exhaustion. I have more energy. I am really begining to make a habit out of resisiting the pull to snack mindlessly. But I still have a long ways to go. I remind myself that three weeks is not enough time to feel I've conquered every last bad habit I have, so not to feel bad about not making more powerful strides this week. But I do feel bad, I feel like I failed. I guess I feel I should lose pounds every week and soar in my exercise reports. But I keep reminding myself this is life, too, and not some short race I need to buckle down and get through. So....overall, mixed feelings about my progress last week. Looking ahead to doing a lot better next week--more exercise, less excuses, less eating out.

completed week 3 yesterday Learned something about myself - looks like I don't have any problem with the exercise part of the challenge. I am able to amp my cardio to 60 minutes with no problem but eating fruits/vegetables for 5 servings has been a bit of the challenge. Some days I was able to do that, some days I only get 3 or 4 servings. I ate healthy but very little - that has been an issue and I am working on this. May be I need to start adding fuits to my snacks, breakfast etc. Looking forward to finish week 4 this week. For the last 3 weeks of this challenge I was able to maintain my weight since I lost the stubborn five
