January Jumpstart Challenge - Week 3 of 4
Amp Up Your Intensity to Amplify Your Results
You are halfway through your challenge! Are you feeling motivated and starting to see the results of your hard work? If so, great! If not, don't worry: Sometimes it takes a while for your body to adjust to a new routine. Stick with it and you will see the results you are looking for! This week, you'll continue with your 10-minute toning videos and 5 weekly cardio sessions. Do your best to continue tracking your food, too, and tackle this week's new challenges, which are designed to help you get even better results!
Week 3 Action Plan
- Follow your 7-day Jumpstart plan. Do one 10-minute toning video each day and pick five days for cardio to help burn calories and blast fat.
- Amp up your cardio. Can you add another 10 minutes to some of your cardio workouts this week? How about increasing the intensity with some intervals, hills or sprints? This week's challenge is to take your cardio to the next level by increasing your time, duration or even adding an extra session to your week. Because cardio blasts fat, this step will help you uncover those newly toned muscles.
- Eat your fruits and veggies. Fruits and vegetables are nutritious, filling and low in calories. They also contain lots of vitamins and antioxidants that will help you recover from your workouts. Make a special point to consume at least 5 servings a day--more if you can! Use these tips to reach that goal.
- Plan ahead for next month. January Jumpstart is almost over, but that doesn't mean your workouts have to fall by the wayside.
