Okay, week #3 in a nutshell: Total cardio min. 487 compared to 457 in week #2. Not too impressive BUT, Week #3 calories were 2563 as compared to 2114 in week #2!!! That 449 more! That's just over 64 more per day! I think that's GREAT! My intensity was A LOT HIGHER TOO! I'm going to give myself a emoticonfor my accomplishment. I sure wish the scale would cooperate! But, that is my fault for eating too much. I wish I wasn't such a good cook AND enjoy it so much!emoticonemoticonemoticon

completed day 20 and 21 video since will not have computer access on Saturday. Also did the video - butt blaster! Strength training is done and walked/jogged an additional 10 minutes.

How's everyone doing? I'm back from my business trip, and while I didn't necessarily get to do everything I wanted fitness wise (They really had our day packed with planned activities and seminars), but I did get 30 minutes of cardio everyday, and I'm going to do some catching up today on videos I've missed. I wish I had done better on nutrition, but again they had planned meals and we didn't get a choice of foods; it was all laid out for us. I did choose to eat as healthy as I could with the choices they placed before us, but unfortunately the choices weren't the best. I'm looking forward to getting back to eating my food, healthy food (my stomach is looking forward to it to; it did not care for the greasy high fats they offered us...it wants whole grains, yogurt, and non fried, non greasy foods!!!!). So I guess that does say something about how far I've come with my food tastes and eating habits. I truly didn't find the other stuff appealing; it wasn't a treat. So here's the fitness I have been able to do this week; I will post the catch-up that I do today after I've sweated as much butt of as I can today.

Sun. 1-15-12 I have done Video 1 Cardio 10 mins. & Bonus Video from 8 Week Diabletes Challenge 20 min. band workout ! 30 min walking the dogs and 30 min mile Walk/Jog intervals. Thanks you for the support, it sure helps doing these fitness mintues.

Mon. 1-16012 Video 10 min. Lower Body workout ! 30min walking the dogs & my 30 min mile Walk/Jog intervals. Another wonderful day to workout !

Tue. 1-17-12 Video 10 min Bootcamp Workout ! 30 min walking the pups & 30 min/mile walking/jogging intervals. Bonus Band Workout Video from the Diabetic Challenge. WooHOO

Wed. 1-18-12 Video 15 min. Seated Core Workout! 30 min walking the pups & 30 min/mile walking/jogging intervals!

Fri. 1-20-12 Video 10 min Arm Sculpting Workout Really felt great after 2 hours of shoveling snow! Need to remember that ! 30 min pups walk & 120 mins shoveling snow !

Sat. 1-21-12 Video 15 min. Abs Workout.30min mile walking/jogging intervals ! Along with the winter event of snow shoveling 60 mins so far !

What a great week, I really don't feel as if I have lost any weight this week, but all of the videos came easier. And shoveling the snow didn't ware me out! So onward to week 4!

Wow, week 3 already. It seems like it was yesterday I was getting anxious for day one, praying I could keep going for one week, let alone three. I'm sticking with you here Red Jewel. Here's my tracker:
1/15/12- Day 1 video, 75 minutes of Yoga X.
1/16/12- Day 2 video, 2.03 miles in 30 min. run/walk on treadmill
1/17/12- Took a day off :( Class got canceled.
1/18/12- Day3 and Day 4 videos, 60 minutes of kickboxing
1/19/12- Day 5 video, SP ball butt workout video, crunches. Zumba canceled :(
1/20/12- By the time I got home from my 2 1/2 hr ride due to snow, I fed kids, got them to bed, time was up. No working out today :(
1/21/12- Family sick, we're throwing up today. NOT fun. Hope to start up again tomorrow.

1/15/12- 30 minutes yoga, hiked up and down a couple of hills and walk/jogged 8.87 miles in 145 minutes

1/16/12- 20 minutes yoga, 8 minute Athletic Intervals SP, 9 minute Lower Body workout SP, 30 minutes Kinect fitness game, and 20 minutes ST (crunches, squats, pushups, tricep dips), and 59 minute walk with my dog (3.42 miles)

1/17/12- 15 minutes yoga, 7 minutes upper body workout SP,3 minutes of disco dancing, and 29 minute walk/jog (2.18 miles)

1/18/12- 12 minutes seated core, 30 minutes yoga, 20 minutes strength training, and 4 minutes fast dancing

1/19/12- 10 minutes yoga, 66 minute walk/jog (5.01 miles)

1/20/12-10 minutes pilates hip & thigh SP video, 9 minutes arm SP video, 15 minutes abs SP video, 15 minutes yoga, 20 minutes strength training, 5 minutes Kinect fitness gaming

1/21/12- 117 minutes of walk/running (6.18 miles)

I've lost 6.3 lbs in W1 and W2 ... hoping for a 10 lbs loss in January. I just might do it too. I lost 2.7 during W3 for a total loss this month - so far - of 9 lbs!

1/14 cardo workout at gym for 42 minutes
walk 1.2 miles 20 min.
lower body dvd 9 min.
1/15 no cardio , 8 min.interval dvd
10 min.pilates
1.2 mile walk 20 min.
1/16 cardio at gym 32 min,and 20 minutes of strength training.
15 min abs,video w/coach nicole
8 min.intervals w/coach Nicole.
1.5 mile walk.
1/17 cardio for 45 min at gym
9 min arm sculpting
10 min pilates (hip/thighs)
3 mile walk. ( 1 hr ) a walk to the drug store and back instead of driving.

This challenge is really pushing me to do push myself!!!! I'm really enjoying it & I hope to see all of the people that have been tracking with me here in w3! I hope to see new people too!!!! Don't forget about our extra challenges this week. We should still be doing 1 xtra spark video twice a week & tracking our food intake (our challenges from last week). Just in case everyone didn't get it, I'm pasting the other challenges from week 3 here:

Follow your 7-day Jumpstart plan. Do one 10-minute toning video each day and pick five days for cardio to help burn calories and blast fat.

Amp up your cardio. Can you add another 10 minutes to some of your cardio workouts this week? How about increasing the intensity with some intervals, hills or sprints? This week's challenge is to take your cardio to the next level by increasing your time, duration or even adding an extra session to your week. Because cardio blasts fat, this step will help you uncover those newly toned muscles.
Eat your fruits and veggies. Fruits and vegetables are nutritious, filling and low in calories. They also contain lots of vitamins and antioxidants that will help you recover from your workouts. Make a special point to consume at least 5 servings a day--more if you can!
Plan ahead for next month. January Jumpstart is almost over, but that doesn't mean your workouts have to fall by the wayside.
