That's awesome, JANROLG - Jillian is no joke!

I'm doing the bare minimum (why did I do this during the holidays again? ha), but I'm doing it, which is a vast improvement over what I had been doing (very little). I'm traveling for the holidays, so I packed healthy snacks for the road and made sure I have clothes/shoes packed to take walks. I'm determined to stay on track as well as I possibly can!

W3D6 done yesterday. Did a 38 minute biking and did free weights for arms and the video. Tonight is a cardio break (which is good since we were going to run and now it's raining and thundering. Did the ab video for W3D7 :) Woot!! Week 4 starts tomorrow!

W3D5 done. 30 minute run with my 7 year old. Our extra challenge was that we ran a full mile nonstop! I'm so proud of him for doing this with me! And I did the video too.

I'm already wondering what next? I did the challenge in Jan, unchecked my boxes and am doing it again. I have 9 days to go. So--I joined the Spring into Shape Challenge to do next. I've been consistent with exercise, but less so this month with sticking to cal range. To reach my goal, that's got to be consistent too. I'm in there for the long haul this time, am not going to let stress derail me.

W3D2, did the video, then I saw how close I was to my 9K steps so I did an extra 15 minutes on the bike. lol Oh well. So much for a break today. I guess I really didn't need it if it felt good. :) It'll be interesting to see what tomorrow brings.

Way to go! Sometimes you have to flex and not worry about doing it strictly by the rules. Today I did a fair bit of cleaning and a lot of cooking by hand--no mixer, etc just for fun and a few extra fitness min. Took a day off from videos; back at it tomorrow.

Welcome to W3D1!! Woot!! I switch Day 2 for Day 1 today because I won't have time to do a workout tomorrow. I will also be stretching out this week because 3 of the 7 days I'll be on the road with no chance to workout. So today I did 30 minute interval training on the treadmill. I actually ran intervals at a 10 min./mile pace for the first time since I hurt my back 2 years ago!! emoticon Then I did the leg video. See you tomorrow!

I finished Wk 3. I am so proud I managed to do the rest of the days tonight with a bonus video of Day 5 Bootcamp. As far as the fruits and veggies go that isn't a problem for me to incorporate plenty of that in my daily diet. I plan on starting over with wk 1 once I finish wk 4 and of course add more videos. Getting on the treadmill more often if my knees allow it. Onward to wk 4.....

I did Wk3 Day 1-3 and do believe I was passed 4 but seem to have gotten lost for a week. With being sick and a house full of guests it was difficult to find the time and place to work out. I realize that is no excuse but it's all I have. Figured I just as well start over and see where that gets me. I had planned on doing more today but already feeling the aches and pains. I did shovel snow for over 15 mins and an extra video: A 10 minute crunchless core workout. I feel better just getting back at it. Good luck everyone.

Repeating week 3... so here goes...

Hi all. Went to a conference in Boston with my DH. We had a great time and I heard some great speakers, including Elizabeth Warren. We hit the gym each day, and tried to stay on track with food. It is good to be back home to our usual routine, but I did enjoy the weekend.

My last day of week 3 is today. I really loved the extra cardio. I added extra minutes to my treadmill and uppped the incline for part of it. I also added a couple of the short cardio workouts. Friday my back was really sore so not sure if I overdid a little or it was just one of those things because I do get back issues sometimes. I rested on Friday and Sat and was back to it on Sunday. I'll finish up my week 3 with a bang today!

Finished off week 3 with a bang! Did an extra half mile + running today. Added 12-13 minutes to my wogging. Helped that I did some stretches & yoga poses for runners from a blog & from Runner's World. My tight hip muscle isn't so angry with me today eventhough I went further for longer.... emoticon

Completed 2-Chicago Marathons, 4-Rock N Roll Half Marathons, 1-Monster Dash Half Marathon, 2-Soldier Field 10 Milers, 2-Shamrock Shuffles & multiple 5K & 10K races.

Well trying to get back on track. Been a long week with being sick then extra cleaning to get done for the company I had coming this weekend. I did manage to do wk3D1-4 today. Having a blizzard outside so no walking out there lol. I just didn't have the energy to get on my treadmill. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. As of Tues. I was down to 250.2 but has been a tough week so not sure what this week will bring. That is a little over 3 lbs lost and over 5 from the start of the mth.

Just finished week 3. Not much loss this week, hope to do better with week4. I've been sore everyday this week and it's frustrating me. I did go buy 2 5 lb weights today so hopefully that makes the difference. I was was using an 8 lb weight and gallon of Apple cider cuz I only had 1 weight for some reason. Hope that does the trick.

done with week 3. i did miss 1 night so the nect night i did 2 videos. i do well with getting my cardio. i vary my intensity so i dont get bored. i look forward to my workouts. my issue is not sleeping enough. but my main issue is my eating/drinking. i eat to much, to often, mindlessly and when i am not hungry.

eating challenges will have to be my next focus.

I'm in exactly the same spot as CEC ELW! I have one more week. I can't wait til Monday. It is weigh in time. I am hoping that I have dropped a lb.

I've already done two days in what I consider Week 4, but SP apparently doesn't. I got my week four email today. I will start over on Day One's Video tomorrow. That will make me come out even with SP if I'm figuring right. I doubled up on day two video (did it twice). I wasn't sure I could do that but I was able to complete the video both times with no problem.

Now on to Week Four, officially!

Week 3, Day 4 done. I've done the videos, cardio, and kept on the lower end of my calorie range, but gained 4 pounds this past week! What's up with that? I don't want to get frustrated, but I had just lost 5, so to gain back 4 in a week is a bummer! Thoughts?

I have extra cardio this week too! My old rotator cuff injury is bothering me now though. Today, I tried to keep doing the cardio but leave the arms low. It worked out okay. My husband joined me this morning for a little strength workout. We exercised to a 15 minute youtube video of Jimmy Hendrix live performance of Red House instead of coach Nicole's video. Sorry Nicole. He would not use your video.

BOMBCHELL23! Glad to see you. Miss you on the Changing My Lifestyle...team; always enjoyed your posts and were motivated by them.

Week 3, Day 4: I'm glad to see the middle of the week past. I usually do poorly in the middle, but this week I'm still holding strong. I've done my cardio each morning AND the daily videos. While I'm not in such good shape, I do feel better are the stretching and strengthening workouts. I needed to start the strengthening part of being fit, but lacked the motivation. This challenge has helped a lot.

I have been trying a variety of videos and I prefer to complete them in the morning and I am hoping to see results, but either way I am beginning to form a new habit that takes a different turn every day to keep my body guessing. I may not see a lot of weight loss yet but I am not giving up! I can say it has been busy with 12 hour days for a while now and that is taking it's toll on my body.

Today is my last day of week three. I did better this week than week two, but still haven't added up a lot of cardio. I need to do 10 to 15 minutes two to three times a day to keep up. I get so tired! I think that is because of my heart. Anyway, does anybody know how to track the Jessica Smith walking tape workouts? I was going to try some of those. Thanks for any advice you can give.

well! I am in week 3 day 6. progressing nicely. I also do Jessica Smith workouts. I am actually getting definition in my arms, legs, shoulders! I haven't seen that in a looong time! I do Jessica's metabolic conditioning and many of her cardio workouts as well. She's pretty young but I can stay up with her very nicely!

emoticon Just finished week 3. I have found out that a variety in exercise helps a lot. I am so surprised at how just a few minutes a day can make such a big difference. I am so excited about getting Nicole's JumpStart video in the mail this week.

We not only can do this, but we are doing it.

Great cardio today. I've started using a heart rate monitor to make sure I'm working out hard enough for real cardio. It has forced me to pick up the case but given me more confidence.

I am behind since I couldn't get the emails for some reason. Now I got some flu bug and have been laid up for awhile. The headaches along with aches and pains just won't go away. There is no way this girl could exercise even if I wanted to. I had such an awesome streak going so feeling sad that it had to be broken. Once I get back on my feet this girl will be back at it. Has anyone received your week 4? Let me know if you did.

My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely.

The nice part about living in a small town: When you don't know what you're doing, someone else always does.
