Sometimes life gets in the way of what you want. But you still have to make the best of it.

With an extracted tooth I imagine eating healthy is a challenge unless you are making smoothies and drinking them. (I think soft foods like jello and icecream which aren't the best choices).

I also imagine workout out stresses....so try just strength training for the legs.... it shouldn't jar your mouth at all.

That way you might not be doing exactly what you need for the challenge but at least you haven't given up.

We all have setbacks. That's not failure. As long as you keep pursuing your goals you're moving forward. Congratulations for adjusting your program and continuing to move forward. That makes you a winner.

Great thoughts Patti!

I have learned along the road of healthy living that life happens. We can't stop an injury or illness. But we can decide how to handle the speed bump. Do we pull over or turn around? Or do we keep pushing on? I choose to push on!!! We can't be perfect 100% of the time, but we can do our best at being healthy. So keep pushing on and don't let life get in the way. Don't feel like you've failed, just pick up the pieces and keep on keepin' on!!! emoticon emoticon

I understand completely! It is not easy to stay on task all the time. When I had bed rest I gained 2 pounds and I hardly ate. Stay focused and have a great week!

Started the week completely motivated and ready to go. However, between having a tooth extracted and then complications from this I have slacked on getting my videos completed. I have a follow up with the dentist tonight. Will restart week 2 tomorrow.
