Please don't quit! I agree with everyone. Look at all the support you have with the responses that you received. We all care about you and want you to succeed. Please try again.
Slow and steady WILL win the race. Help? How do I change the kg to pounds on my ticker? It should read 192.5 lbs.

Modification is definitely the word of the day! Especially early on. You've only seen these videos once or twice, and most of them are very fast-paced. Of course you can't follow them exactly.
Just pick the most difficult thing you *can* do and go to that when you get lost or behind. I spent a bunch of the first week randomly marching in place and flailing my arms.

The time to Quit is after the 4th week. If those of us over 69 are hanging in there and modifying the workouts, no one has said you can not modify too. Do what you can do. Perhaps you are expecting much to much of yourself. Relax and go with the flow, any moving is better than none.
Hang in there,

KDEDEO don't worry about being able to do everything or even do everything the way Denise does it. I'm over 200 as well with other physical and health issues. I do what I can, as long as I'm moving it's better than doing nothing.
When I first started with the videos, I felt the same way. Sometimes I'd just march in place or walk around. I still can't do many of her videos, but that's ok, it's not a competition with anyone.
There are some good seated videos, also I get videos from the library and try them all the time. Some are too hard, but I give them a try anyway- sort of a challenge to myself-sometimes I can't complete them, but it's fun trying.
Leslie Sansone has some great walking videos as well as Denise Austin. Keep looking for what works for you. Start slow and have fun. Also, I put on music while doing the videos that pumps me up and makes me want to move it-move it. I like the Black Eyed Peas; The E.N.D. there's some great dance beats on there. But use whatever music that makes you happy.
Don't give up you can do it.

I'm 74 and weigh 106 pounds. Sunday will be the end of my second week of the challenge.I try everything and do as much as I can. You can make modifications to allow for any short comings you have. The only one I gave up on was the jump rope. I've really enjoyed the challenge and plan on finishing (and maybe starting the next one). Everything you can accomplish is that much better for your health. TRY!!!

I personally do not believe you are honestly ready to quit.
Echoing many others here... MODIFY and do what you can. You are not the only person here who can't get through the videos.
This is how I modify: * Fewer reps * Less weight on the dumbbells (I have even used 15 oz cans of vegetables) * Taking an easier position * Dropping out and taking a breath, then coming back in
Inflamagic.com I use this for pain of all kinds; muscle, joint, strains, really any kind of inflammation. Works fast and is all natural.
MenopauseMagic.com A fantastic menopause relief product that is natural and relieves menopause symptoms within a few weeks versus the eight to twelve weeks for other therapies.
MenstrualMagic.com All natural menstrual cramp reliever that works fast.
on your 22 pound weight loss. Pease not QUIT! You have already made progress. If you need to modify, something then modify. Just remeber to take it one day at a time. We are all here for each other; to give support and encouragement. Don't Quit Please!

IF the video's are too difficult, then modify them to what you can do. I have pain in my wrist, so push ups are nearly impossible. So, I do them as wall push ups instead. That means that any of these challenge videos that show push ups, I have to modify them. The challenge isn't about making you do something that is too hard. It's about getting you to make a habit of everyday exercises.

Don't quit. Whatever you do is a positive step in the right direction. Even if you don't do the specified exercises, just run in place waving your arms up and down. Anything just to keep moving.

No, its always too soon to quit! You will miss your blessing, your reward and then all past efforts are WASTED! Run on see what the end will be. It will be better than when you started. Just one more step! Please make one more step!

I hope you don't quit... MODIFY MODIFY MODIFY! I am relatively fit (former athlete, I run, etc.), AND i find some of these videos to be challenging... they want us to be better and they are pushing us.... BUT and this is a huge BUT, they also say to go at our own pace and to only push when we are ready.
Please think about all of these supportive comments and ideas before you quit!

Hey KDEDEO!
If it was easy, it wouldn't be a challenge. I see you've lost 22 pounds already, so YEA YOU!
You've got a great start, don't give in to doubt. I too struggle with some of the exercises, but I modify them: I do push ups against the wall, as I have trouble getting down and up from the floor. But I'm not a kid.. but I stilll want to get healthier!
Go slow.. do what you can... and stay active on these forums, as the encouragement and inspiration of others is what keesp me going. Do what you can.. and stick with us!

Don't quit! YOU CAN DO IT!! Maybe find a video that you can subsititute that you can do easier. Some things I am not able to do so I modify, I do what I can until I can do it all the way. It does get easier with time!

Hang in there!! Everyone starts somewhere, and like the others have said below... you can absolutely modify the videos to suit your level. (Coach Nicole also says that several times in the ones I've so far.) Just do what you can, as much as you can, and you WILL see results. You WILL see that you are getting stronger, more functional... FITTER! It may take time, and it may be hard to be consistent, especially when it's difficult, but YOU CAN DO IT!!
Rock the day, K:)

I modify all the exercises to suit my fitness level...I'm over 200 pounds so I can't do all the exercises the way Coach Nicole does so I modify!!! I also do my Zumba by doing the low impact versions of the steps...that way I'm still exercising but not frustrating myself either!!
Also, you could not do the videos and just walk everyday!!!! Remember the Spark philosophy...you can't go from coach potato to marathon runner in a night!!! You have to start where you're at in your life!!!!!!
I hope you'll stick with this challenge but just do it your way!!! There are people here to support you! Stay focused on your personal goals!!!

Don't quit. Just go through the motions and do what you can and adjust it. They do tell you on the videos. I, for instance do the side plank with my knees on the floor while falling here and there but I just get up until that part is over, the butt lift-I do without the 1 leg variation , I just hold the pose until I can't anymore. With some daily repetition you can begin to feel stronger and have a bit more endurance, I tweaked those videos a lot last week. I moved side to side or danced merengue -style while the long jumping jacks lasted! I still got a workout. Now I can hold up more but I'm still not at the advanced variation. I will get there, just not now. Just keep moving. Best wishes!

Don't Quit! Do the parts of the exercise that you can ...and just do extra of those parts to equal ten minutes.
Also, if you are exercising--that is what counts. I am sure the coaches will let you substitute ten minutes of exercise for the videos. (I had to do that a few days last week when I couldn't access the videos.) The videos are just a resource....don't let them ruin your goals and excitement. Some of them are definitely challenging, but remember people at all levels of fitness are watching them, so they will be harder for some and easier for others. They DO get easier over time.
I encourage you not to quit...stay on our team and just make some small changes/substitutions to make this work for you.
