Finally got on to Week 2. I've done everything, except I will finish with the Day 7 video tomorrow. I did the 12 minute low impact cardio video for my extra 2 videos this week.

Re-starting week 2. I already know I'll have to double-up a few days on the cardio workout and I've made notes of other SP workouts I'd like to do. I'm getting more hours on job #2 and tomorrow is 'date night' with my husband. I know I can do this!

I did the Bollywood 16 minute cardio video for my bonus workout.... Finally able to stay on the elliptical for the full 20 minutes and NOT change the resistance levels that the path dictates... I can do it. That was the first exercise goal I set for myself and this 28 day workout challange was the second.

First day of week 2. I should be on week 3, but due to a crazy work schedule, started week one over. I find I'm sleeping better and I feel better. I'm also being more conscious of the food choices I make. I'm not perfect about that, and I don't think I ever will be. But-its better and I'm able to do the workouts more effectively. I'll see on Saturday if I've lost anything.

Just finished up my last day this week. Completed today's video and did 30 min cardio on treadmill at 4.5mph. Tracked food and checked off week 2. Looking forward to week 3. I can tell I'm making some progress because the weekly videos are not quite as difficult as they were the first week.

This is my last day in Week 2, and the longest I've ever stuck with the January Jumpstart Challenge. Go me! I did the "New You: Cardio Kickboxing Workout" and the "Qi Gong" workout for my extra videos this week. I'm very familiar with the kickboxing video...I've used it often when I didn't have the time or energy for a long workout. The "Qi Gong" was totally new for me and was very relaxing and made me feel all warm and stretchy. It would be a great bedtime or de-stressing routine. I'm down three pounds this month, and ten from my "restart" in December. Consistency is a beautiful thing.

I'm on my last day of week 2. I have been doing very good with my exercises. For my bonus video I'm doing the 15 min Abs Workout. I'm having a hard time tracking my food because I cant always find it on the list and I really don't know how to track it or if I'm tracking it correctly. That is something I have to work on. I haven't been on the scale this week but I know one thing for sure........I feel good and I have a lot of energy!

Week 2, Day 2: I missed a day last week due to injury. I could not do the dreaded Day 5 Pilates because I twisted my knee the day before. It took a few days to heal but I was able to do upper body and core work, no problem. I went into Fitbit withdrawal...watching my step count drop from 10-12K per day down to 2K was maddening!
I do the 10 minute stretching video for runners just about every day. I don't run (yet) but I think it prevents soreness from walking 40 - 60 minutes/day. I am starting to notice that some of the stretches I found nearly impossible are a little easier now.
This week, my bonus video is 10 minute Pilates for beginners.
Keep up the good work everyone!

Got in an hour and a half walk around the local pond while keeping up with my 2 year old grandson on his bike and pushed the 5 month old in a stroller. I felt like I'd put in 5 videos!!! But came home and did a 30 min stretching video. That was a good day!!

Did not do a workout today. I was not feeling well. I had a horrendous sinus headache. It took half a day for the meds to even make a dent in it. So, I could not do a workout even if I tried. Tomorrow is another day and I intend to make it a good one. Until then.

Week 2 done. Found the Day 7 video the hardest still, but managed to complete all the exercises. For the extra video I did the 15 Minute Stability Ball workout since I am trying to work on my balance. For me it is more like the 15 minute INstability ball workout since it can still get away from me at times, especially during the pushups if I push my arms out too far. But, in general, I like the support of the ball for my back.

Feel like a have much more energy than before. Will be doing measurements tomorrow and will see if the scale/tape measure moves too.

Finished week 2 today (don't like working out on Sundays, so did everything on Sat). So proud of myself. They say that it takes 21 days to make a habit out of something, but two weeks solid and it already feels like one. I feel great, better than I have in a long time, and have noticed slight definition daily. I started out doing 1/2 of my P90x videos these last two weeks and plan on doing every video full on next week. Obviously they're major fat burners because I've lost almost 3,000 calories this week just by doing 1/2 of them. I'm going to do them for the 90 days and then prob. switch to something less intensive like yoga most days. For now I'm loving it and can't wait for week 3!

Doing well this week despite some obstacles. I did 31 minutes for 1 1/2 miles and burned 201 calories on my treadmill. I raised the incline to 3%. I found that the more that I raise the incline, the more calories I burn. So, I will be doing that from now on. I also did my ab workout. I have been having computer issues so I have not been able to do the videos. I did yesterday, but today I could not. My desktop computer crashed day before yesterday, and today we had internet issues. Boy, it just seems that every electronic thing that I touched lately has malfunctioned. So, despite the hurdles, I am doing well.

Day 11 and wasn't sure I'd be able to do anything today, but I found time and even did a few more minutes. I feel awesome. Exercise doesn't feel like a chore anymore, hoping I can stay this way.

Got in my cardio - 30 minutes of intervals on the treadmill, video, and extra exercise. So, doing much better than yesterday. But, I built in that bad day into my week. So far so good.

Day 3 of Week 2 and still going strong. So proud of myself, as this has already become a routine and one I never plan to quit again. During my workout today I got a bit down on myself as I work out in front of my mirror (which usually helps pick me up when I see definition head on), but today I saw the present from the past. It really sucked to remember being thin and the last 5 years of giving up on myself, even before my pregnancy 2 years ago...because honestly that's what it was..self-hatred and self-doubt. Sometimes, as much as it hurts, it's nice to see honesty and truth in yourself that was hidden. I may not be anywhere near where I want to be yet, but I know now that I never want to return to that deep, dark place. I'm young, beautiful, and have alot of life and gifts to offer this world, so why quit now. It's not just me though, it's all of us. Don't do it for sex appeal or to look like someone else, do it for your life, do it for your family, and most importantly do it for yourself. Until tomorrow!

Just finished day 2 of week 2, which started off slightly bad, but I am proud of myself for scheduling in the active time regardless.I woke up 3 hours late this morning so morning routine out the window. I barely have time during the day with my toddler and didn't feel like I had enough time to do my 1 hour P90X video today, so did 3 day of the spark videos ahead of time and snuck in my extra video. I chose the 10 minute crunch-less core workout, since I've been doing alot more leg and arm routines. I used to workout downstairs in my living room and have now switched to my bedroom so I can workout in front of my mirror. Seriously, talk about motivation! Watched my muscles flex while doing reps and seeing definition in action gives a glimpse into what I used to look like before pregnancy and what I'm surely going to look like soon with being so active each day. Good luck to all those still on week two of this challenge!

Day 3 complete. I am alternating my treadmill workout. Yesterday I did intervals, and today I increased the incline. Yesterday it was 2% with intervals and today I increased the incline to 3%. I found that the more that I increase the incline, the more calories I use. I also did my ab workout and today's video. Making progress.

Well, I got overwhelmed by a crazy schedule last week (I was maid of honor in my sister's wedding!). I still worked out 4 days, which is much better than the "nothing" I would have done under that kind of stress in the past, but I didn't keep up with the Challenge. So I have decided to re-do week 2. I have much more time this week, and I'm off to a good start!

I am still in shock that I burned at least 2600 calories this week. I'd forgotten that I can be this active! Tracking is an issue. I got my 3 days in, but completely lost control the days that I didn't track, probably losing lots of progress. Think I'll try to start a personal streak. On to week 3!

Just finished day one of week two and feel awesome. Didn't have the motivation this morning to work out, but so glad I did anyways because no I feel great. I'm way stronger, I'm able to do more of my programs so far this week and I'm already noticing slight definition returning :) The greatest part so far has been noticing each baby step that I take, leading to phenomenal results.

This week has made me realize how much trouble I have tracking food because I'm not on the computer a lot everyday. So I went to Wal-Mart last night and bought one of those app store cards and used it to buy the SparkPeople Diet & Fitness tracker. So far so good, I've been tracking my food though it :)

It's Sunday nite, 4 days into my 3rd week, I find I missed the week 2 challenge post, so didn't know about doing the extra bonus vid. Haven't read the week 3 post yet. Will it knock me out of the challenge, not doing it?

I almost completed the week 2 challenge. I say almost because I spent a few days this week sick. I was able to catch up on my workouts but my fitness minutes reset today and I start on Mondays not Sundays. Also I was only able to get in the one day of extra video. I chose the 5 min exercise ball workout (for beginners). I really needed the beginner one because I've never used one before and I ended up enjoying it. Not sure if I get to check off the wk 2 challenge box or not. Would it be ok to do the 2nd day of video in the morning?

Incredibly I finished week 2! Work was CRAZY at the beginning of the week so I did no videos and only 1 day of cardio Sunday - Tuesday then doubled up on videos and hit the cardio hard for the rest of the week. Phew! Ready for a break. Only doing the Day-1 video today, no cardio.

Starting week two. This week I plan to step up my cardio by doing intervals every day. I have a great interval work out that I found on ITunes through Motion Traxx. It is 1 minute running with 1 minute recovery. It is a great workout. Time to get back into it. I am looking forward to week two.

I've just finished week 2 and I'm still loving this challenge. I did a 40 minute shadow boxing workout today and I usually only manage to fit in 10 or 15 min workouts. All in all I'm feeling great and I'm looking forward to next week. Is anyone else planning to do this programme more than once or know if there is going to be a February challenge.
