I love the 10 minute videos but I have been doing the 10 minute excerises that I got on a DVD by Coach Nicole when I joined the Spark Coach. I feel like I'm doing something different without missing anything that I am supposed to do.

I'm doing the 10-Minute Cardio Kickboxing Workout for my additional vid. It's one of my favorites.

So far I feel great. Week 1 was hard because I'm not used to so much cardio (or any at all really), but I feel fitter already.

Week 1 was good, except the hip day. I was so sore I had to take a day off to get some reast and be able to proceed with the second week, I will make sure to take it easier this week when I do that vid again. I am on day 2 of week 2 and looking through the vids to add to my week. Once I have picked that out I will post it here, probably something with kickboxing or similar as those are always my faves.

ETA: I picked the New YOU Bootcamp: 10-Minute Kickboxing Workout. I used to do this a lot in the past and it was a fave of mine, decided to blow off the proverbial dust and try it out again. Loved it and it really got me sweating....Now to go out and walk with the dogs :)

I added the 7 minute belly blast with dumbells for my week 2 bonus video.

This challenge is helping me meet my BLC team (black panthers) requirements for strength training. I appreciate the structured approach when I am starting out. I suspect that others may be in need of structure as well. The "powers that be" at SP might consider putting together a video series for the BLC participants (optional) for the fall challenge. Just an idea :)
In the mean time, I will use what you already have put together.

I did the 10 minute Pilates thigh work out and the Ab/core work out, which is Day 7 bootcamp.

Doing ok--not working out as long or as hard as I'd like. But at least I'm working out!

Last day of week 2 I only lost 0.5 pounds and a total of 2.8 inches over my whole body. It was not much, but i am making progress.

today I'm on day 10, I feel great and energized I haven't lost a pound yet, but I feel stronger.
In week to I added the 8 minute cardio interval to my workout routine and a salad with at least on meal per day.

I hope to see results at the end of week 2.

I started on a Sunday I think? Anyway, still going. I really like the 10 minute videos. It helps to break up the workouts when you're busy. So I got 20 minutes of cardio and the daily video in today. I does feel good to be 2 weeks in!

W2D3 Walked yesterday and today 30 minutes. Did the videos too. A little more tired the last few days but still plugging away. Today I was not motivated to stay on track at all but I got myself walking to do my errands and surprisingly got more done than I thought I would with low energy. Something in me really wants my slimmer self. So, yes, I'm going to say it...yay me!

Good to see everyone else sticking to it too! You all really motivate me to continue. emoticon

Day 10 done. (I switched Day 8 with Day 10) Easy Peasy! So much for my day off. lol I had to do 15 minutes walking on the treadmill to finish up my 9K steps for the day. Doh!

W2D1 (I am switching Day 2 and Day 1 because I have commitments on Day 3 so I need Day 3 to be my non-cardio day) Just finished one of my extra videos for the week. I did the 10 Minute Yoga Fusion Workout.

Day 8 done! 45 minutes on the treadmill and video complete!

I'm glad you did the video even though you were stiff, Michi3. I did the same thing. I did this video the first week i did this challenge. I did better at it today. After the 1st week i had to take a2 week break due to my pain level being too high and not having adequate pain relief. I'm back this week doing week 2. I'm hoping to get the bonus video done tomorrow. Lets keep going everyone.

Well, I've been slacking on the logging in and tracking, but I have been watching what I eat and still skipping the soda. I feel better and I have started seeing results on the scale. Although they don't seem to be visible in the mirror yet. Last week I joined a program at my gym that runs through April. So I'm hoping that when I add the workouts. I'll start seeing the difference in my appearance. Keep up the great work everyone!

This was a rough week I back slide a bit but I am not giving up. I started the 3rd week very strong and have completed video every day this week, I can do this. I need to continue my focus so I can lose weight. I know I have the determination not to give up. I must say I like my spark tracker it encourages me to get in 10,000 steps in a day!

I am stiff and could barely do the 9 min lower body workout today. I did it anyway, with smaller movements and then followed it with a 3 min leg stretch video. Feel a bit better.

Go for exercises to the senior center twice a week for one hour. We do warm up walking 15 min. Stretch bands and weights for 20 min. Than we do a cool down. Can that count towards my goal. The eating part still needs work to much snacking emoticon

Finishing week 2 did two featured videos. I did Two Moves to a Better Butt, and another video 4 minute stretching (can't find the video when I looked for it under featured). Almost done with week three for cardio. Need to catch up on videos.

Completed 2-Chicago Marathons, 4-Rock N Roll Half Marathons, 1-Monster Dash Half Marathon, 2-Soldier Field 10 Milers, 2-Shamrock Shuffles & multiple 5K & 10K races.

I just wanted to thank Spark for having this Challenge - I have exercised every single day since starting it, all due to the 10 minute-ish videos - no way to say I don't have time to do that, and once I have my workout clothes on, it seems silly to not just go ahead and do my cardio too - it is really working for me!

Spent a long day on my feet yesterday at work. It didn't seem like a day off from exercise! Today, my husband and I walked indoors at a local conservatory and pretended it was Spring! Tomorrow, I will try to see what kind of exercise he will do with me.

I'm glad to see so many people succeeding. I'm currently stuck on week two day seven (cardio workout) due to re-straining my back and having pain and limited range of motion with my shoulder. I will start this again when the pain stops. I'm still watching my calories though.

Yeah. The pain is at a low and reasonable level. I finished week 2 today including bonus videos and tracking. Today will be the start of week 3 also.

Just finished the 2nd week and it went really well :D The videos get my heart rate up and I can usually feel them the next day....especially the core videos. Those always kick my hind end. emoticon

W2D6 is finished! I really like that 9 minute arm workout. Also did a 20 minute cardio/ST video and 11 minutes of Vinaysa Yoga.

I've been tracking my food pretty faithfully since I signed up and I must say that this week I have made more lapses and forgot more food items than ever, lol. I think putting it under scrutiny like that just pointed out that I'm not perfect and that's okay. I probably tracked 3 days pretty faithfully, lol.

I did 2 bonus videos this week. The first was the day 7 video, that was easily the most difficult video of the series for me and I needed to do it a couple more times throughout the week to make me feel like I was accomplishing the goals of the exercises. I also added the Runners Stretch video after my runs, just what I needed.

Yesterday I did day5 and 6 and my third extra video for the week which was 10 minute Jump start cardio. I have to track some more of my food. Well I have it on paper just need to get it put on here. Been putting in some extra hrs at work so lacking in time. Today I managed a walk and did d7 so completed my wk 2. I just received wk3 so will start on that tomorrow after work.

My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely.

The nice part about living in a small town: When you don't know what you're doing, someone else always does.

Finished week 1. Missed a couple of days week 2, but jumped on board today with the 20 minute cardio blast video. It was a great workout. I'm dripping with sweat!! Now I"ve just got to work on my caloric input. :)
