I'm not doing well at all this week! I seem to have hit an eating binge, where nothing is safe! I've already added 3 pounds which is a lot for me. I worked an insane amount of hours last week and so far this week, and I think that's part of the reason! emoticon

Completed 20m aerobics & 5min stretching. I'll try to get in toning later. For me, doing the aerobic then toning is just too much, & it makes me ill. I'm trying to repair 10 years of sitting in front of the computer & 40 years of bad diet.

Early in week two. Week one was a success. I have started having green smoothies for breakfast. That made a big difference in my weight loss last week.

I'm doing well but I am wondering if everyone is just repeating the same videos or are we able to pick other ones? I just got done at the gym with my trainer and we worked pretty much every muscle group. I don't have much left ... Thinking doing day one cardio because of all the ST I did already tonight.

Week 2. Decided to try 2 videos: 11 min chair cardio and 14 min dance cardio. Bit challenging when I have no sense of timing/dance ability, but fun - good reason to practice! Wish I was half as graceful as the bollywood dancers! :)

Today was a chaotic day. Seriously had to run around and get some stuff done before I leave. Did not think I would get my workouts in, but I did! Yay. Now if I plan just right I can get a little more cardio in my day.

I am done with week2 and starting week number 3.
Things are going well. Drinking plenty of water and losing weight.
I checked and I lost 4.6 pounds. I am so happy!!!

Finished Wk 2 and ready to embark on Wk 3. Done many extra Cardio's, tracked my food, ate fruit and vegy's and drinking plenty of water. Lost a little but enough said on that subject. I am definitely getting toned. Seems to be taking forever but then I know it all takes time. With putting in 50 to 70 hours a week that makes me feel even better. Sticking with my workouts no matter what. If I can do it I know everyone can.


My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely.

The nice part about living in a small town: When you don't know what you're doing, someone else always does.

I traveled and had a cold, so I took off the week I should have been Week 2 activities. Back at it now.

Day 1--liked the video; also did my regular cardio
Day 2--cardio and video; liked the lower body workout
Day 3--video? done! did it twice
Day 4--those seated leg lifts are HARD!
Day 5--video done; pilates, I'm new to it but I'm thinking I could benefit from it.
Day 6--oh that floor work! done but not liking it

Just wished I could do the crunches and bridges a lot better though.

I should have been done with Wk2 on fri. but ended up with company so was only able to complete D3 or 4. It is not that I am not exercising just not able to do the days on here. Many of my exercises have been completed at work using Coach Nicole's Cardio Blast DVD. I do 2 to 3 of them everyday I work till 10p. Mornings are out cause as much as I sweat at exercising I sweat way worse while working. My skin is way too dry to even think of showering twice a day. I have a very challenging job where your moving during most of the shift. I do manage to get walks in as well. I work with the Mentally Challenged so we clean, cook, shower them etc. When I work the shorter shift where I am done by 8:30 then I can come home and do the videos required on here. Which I will complete 2 tomorrow and maybe start 3. There are more exercise DVD's I have but they are not in the list of exercises so don't know how to record them. We need that updated. For instance that Fit Firm and whatever it is called, Coach Nicole's other Cardio one there is only one day that shows on when I search for it. Will you please go through and update your search choices. I cannot take my computer to work so have to use the DVD's. One thing I feel great about is I have been exercising almost daily for over 1 1/2 years or more. I also have lost since doing the challenge but not changing my meter and not saying cause everytime I do it backfires on me. I even quit telling the workers cause it seems I slip backwards when I do. Super excited to be able to finish WK2 tomorrow and go onto 3. I also tracked my food for the 3 days and did several extra workout videos. Keep up the good work all.

Wow 2 weeks in and I have lost 10 pounds!! From here on I know it will be less than that but I hope to keep it at 2 pounds per week. I have not done any of the videos, but I have been walking 2 miles 4-5 days a week. My goal is this week is to complete the videos for the week.

Week 2 is done. The fitness videos seemed a bit easier this week. Not sure I like doing ST every day. I am more accustomed to doing it 2-3 times a week instead. Also, I did the Jessica Smith 15-minute Full Body Blaster that was promoted by SP this week as my extra fitness session. I am not happy that I cannot track this video on my Fitness Tracker. Not sure why SP frequently offers these types of videos and then leaves us hanging.

Oh well. Onto Week 3 I go!

I am on week 2, Day 4, but also did the extra video, I learned how to use the foam roller, which granted is not a strenuous exercise, but it is something I really wanted to learn. I see there are other short videos for using the roller on various parts of the body.
I am so grateful to Spark People another question answered and another way I can help myself.

Went to the Gym and tried the elliptical was on it 15 min. It was tough. But I loved it.Hang in there we are halfway through.

Week 2; day 12 doing well! I had a neck strain, so had to REALLY modify the videos & all activities. But doing MUCH better, today! Taking GREAT care not to re stress my neck, but doing all the lower muscles while the upper ones are 'on' the videos. I'm getting my workouts in! emoticon

I am very disappointed in myself. At my first weigh in last week I had only lost .5lbs. I had exercised, tracked what I eat, gave my precious Mt Dew and only lost .5. I justified it as my weigh in was on Friday and I had only started on Monday. I think the disappointment got to my motivation plus I have had an very un-normal harried week. My exercise and dieting have gone out the window. I know I have put back on that .5 and am very disappointed in myself. Right now I am facing the fact that when I weigh in tomorrow that it will not be what I want it to be and trying to let go. I am moving forward and planning for another hectic week so that I won't get blind sided and will be prepared then I will be ahead of the game. I still am not happy as I had planned on being so much farther in my journey and feel like I am still at square one.

I just did Week 2 Day 5 work out. I never should have started this on a Sunday. I keep forgetting to count that day form my workouts.

I did day 2 and 3 but will finish by friday or earlier. At work I also did 3 10 min. videos today as well. Managed to get in a walk as well. Been working 60+ hrs a week so very proud of myself for the exercising that I am managing to get done as well. Keep up the good work all.

Hi,

Week 2 Day 3 done! I did 15 minutes on the elliptical for cardio. I am slowly building up. I am still a little behind because I went cross country skiing for 2 hours Sunday so I didn't do the video that day.. I need to fit in an extra video to catch up. I will get that done today.

Very tired today.
Had my 18 mo. old Granddaughter all day and she never stops so neither does Grammy.
Love every minute of it but it wears me out. It's 8;45 pm and I still have to do my workouts and track for the day. I will get them done!! emoticon

Age is an issue of mind over matter. If you don't mind it doesn't matter.
