week one, day 4... I repeated days 2 and 3 and started on 4... I have weak ankles. I found myself falling while trying to balance one leg and back I went foot under my butt and my knee with FULL extension, it hasn't done that, not even close to that, in years. SO I learned a lesson today. Hold on to something! and when you call, put your feet up. I landed so hard on my back with my foot under my butt and was terrified to move. I have had so many injuries already this year, one of the reasons I am here on SP, that I laid there terrified to move. Realizing that the position I was in was not all that really painful but getting out of that position was going to be potentially dangerous and damaging to my leg, ankle, well.. to me. I figured out that I could very slowly walk myself to a sitting position with my hands. From there I slowly rocked back to release my foot from under me and I slowly, checking out each muscle and bone movement straightened out my leg. I sat there with both legs extended on the floor, tears streaming down my face in relief that I wouldn't be driving myself to the ortho doctor.
I will attempt the exercise routine tomorrow while I am HOLDING on to something, until my ankles and my core are strong enough to sustain my body on one leg.
I don't give up anymore, I move forward. I am inspired as other move forward with me.
